  1. As I've said on another thread I was greatly impressed with the Echo 2500 put it through a 10/11 inch log and it didn't bog down in the slightest. Granted I'm not on the tree's anymore and selling them instead, but I seriously couldn't believe it's power for a small saw. Even managed to sell one to a member on here, I'm sure he'll report back
  2. I'll look Monday. Weekend off with the kids. I'm sure I've seen a couple of 61's around
  3. Tested one on Wednesday whilst the rep was at work, put it through a ten inch round and was seriously impressed. Seems to cut quicker than the 160T also felt better to handle. Not had chance to use the T540i yet as there going out as soon as they come in
  4. It's grand to see you getting some good work in pal. Hope to catch up at some point
  5. Any numbers on the blades? I can check at work tomorrow for you if you want
  6. It's not knowing what chain they! Some folk don't even know what saw they have and it's not just the domestic users! It's going to be fun with the new bar/chain combo
  7. I agree completely. We stock loads of parts. We get saws like 028, 038, 009 etc. Just having to try and find space for all the new stuff thats been coming in isn't easy. Now Stihl have decided to change the bar and chain on the 261 so more stuff to stock. Those reels of chain can soon take up space
  8. Are there any numbers stamped on the drive links?
  9. What did you pay? Is it 1/4 bar?
  10. You should of brought it up in the shop today. I've had a couple a mk3 and 4. Usually service stuff, had to replace replace rear springs not long after I got them, but they had some miles on the clock and pretty cheap and easy to replace. Speak to the lads on the hilux owners club. There a good bunch. What they don't know isn't worth knowing
  11. I think the dealer would be robbing him if he sold fuel can and mixer with a battery saw
  12. I'd like to but don't think it will go down to well with the boss. Get quite a few saying it's not cutting and it's on backwards.
  13. I have to say it's shameful how people come to the shop with saw in hand asking us to change the chain over, sometimes they haven't even bought it from us
  14. That's because it's the hsa 26 now. They both take the AS2 battery
  15. I work at a dealership. Must of taken in 30 machines today. Everybody thinks seams to think it's a quick easy fix, but it's usually not. Not to mention the amount chain sharpening that come in. Must of done about 60 today
  16. All good cheers. Been left on my own this morning
  17. First day off from the shop today. We've now closed to public coming in, but telephone orders etc. Can either be delivered or picked up from outside the shop. I've only been at home because I'm just shop front
  18. I've started working at a main dealer for both sthil and husqvarna. The 550 definitely seems to sell better than the 261, even though I try my hardest to sell it
  19. They might of all fledged by time everyone can get back to it
  20. Worked today (Chainsaw shop) 90% of customers were domestic users. All leaning on the counter enjoying there day off. Had to keep asking them to stand back, some more than once even though there's a big sign telling them to. We only opened for our larger customers ( council/utilities etc) but yet they kept coming. Who knew chainsaws, hedge trimmers were essential goods!
  21. Your not the only one
