  1. The stihl one's fit petzl helmets or any other with Husqvarna type fittings. You'll then need to swap the visor holder for a stihl one and fit a 3M visor. As for the Protos, you'll need swap out the carrier for the ear defenders which allows the fitting for 3M ear defenders
  2. Sounds very familiar. Everybody wants their stuff back either the same day or the next! Some folks don't understand that we're flat out. We've got a couple of signs up saying it's a 3 week turn around, but yet they ring up 2 days after asking if it's fixed. This is usually domestic/semi pro customers/builders though.
  3. Who knows? We've got 10 on order. Still waiting on 592xp/xpg's from last year, had one of each so far! Got a load of bars for them though
  4. Con rod's?
  5. I think there's a lack of climbers up round Manchester. Treelink based in Rochdale have been looking for a good while
  6. Agree with that, did mine in January. Great course. He's very enthusiastic and knowledgeable with his background. Great bloke on and off the job! I usually hate doing first aid courses, but Dan makes it enjoyable and entertaining whilst still delivering an informative and in depth course. His trauma kits are also very good aswell 👌
  7. There good lads. If you don't get a reply on here, give them a call 👍
  8. The chain itself isn't that much more, only a few quid if memory serves. The files aren't the cheapest but, they reckon you can get two chain out of them. As far as I'm aware the first batch of files they had produced weren't hardened correctly so might not even last for a full chain. Last I checked you could get these replaced as warranty. I've got it on my 441 and I can tell the difference. It will fit some of the older husqvarna saws though that ran 3/8 though.

I'll confirm adw's thoughts the correct screw should be a self tapper. Part no. 9075 478 4159
  10. The DCS-2500T is also extremely good. Had one cutting through some over sized slabs with ease and that was about 3 years back with the lower power battery
  11. The 2511tesc is brilliant saw. The C means it comes with 1/4 pitch carving bar which is solid nose which some folk can't stand. Some dealerships may offer a roller nose bar at extra cost, that bar comes in 12" as standard on the wesc model
  12. We sell the mowers and haven't had a problem with parts tbh. We do try and keep most stuff on the shelf though
  13. Have you thought about looking at Echo?
  14. I have to say I don't like them for pretty much the same reason as @MattyF . Had one and got caught up more than once. Now I'm on the opposite side of the counter I advice the customer of my opinions. They sometimes listen, but quite often don't. Some of the reason for not getting the carritool is, it isn't shiny.
  15. With the ISC rope grab I believe it can go straight on to a wire core line. The positioner 2 needs the S clutch as far as I'm aware. The Petzl one I haven't a clue.
  16. Planner do some. https://www.outwearltd.co.uk/our-brands/pfanner/gloves/chainsaw-protection-sleeve
  17. Nice Paul. Was great speaking with you the other night 👍
  18. Heard nothing but praise for Pfanner Nanoshield. Pricey, but believe it's got a high waterproof rating
  19. Cheers Jon. I meant to do it today, but didn't get chance. II'll pass the info to our customers who have them
  20. I might have a second hand one at work. Let me have a look on Monday, and I'll message you. I've got my 260 in bits, but that's an ongoing project
  21. In regard to the DMM recall, I've not been given any information about it from them as a dealer. I found out about it from social media. I've got ten of them getting dusty on a shelf. Keep getting asked about them, but I've no info and can't sell what might be a defective product
  22. Their usually spot on with delivery, I've never had any complaints.
