  1. Morning all. Currently sat in a hotel feeling feeling rather hung over.
  2. Nothing wrong with charging £4.95 + vat. That's what we charge up to 2kg first class, providing it's not an oversized item then it may go 2nd class. Very small items will be cheaper though. Anything large will go parcel force at £12.95 + vat. We don't do website orders as yet, which makes things easier as it's all over the phone and can tell people direct what costs will be.
  3. Sorry to hear this. Only met him a few times. Sound bloke though. RIP
  4. Just need Radmore & Tucker and Sam Turner to start playing ball and the job might be a bit better for the local dealers
  5. Here, present and correct. Life is so much easier now I'm not in the tree game. Selling kit is far more relaxed
  6. As said the people that have bought them have no complaints. We've been selling them a few years now. We use them to get fuel for the workshop which then gets decanted to 5lt cans and they work perfectly 👍
  7. If you send us a message with what you need I can help out. Usually got most stuff in stock
  8. Not cheap 10lt is about £38 + and 20lt is £43 I think
  9. We stock these they seem to work. We've not had any complaints No Glug Fuel Cans - Portek Birdscaring and Agricultural Products PORTEK.CO.UK
  10. Pfanner Nanoshield for the coat. Been out in torrential rain and it's kept me dry. Just need some good trousers now. I will say their not cheap
  11. No problem. You'll probably be doing quite a lot of swearing if you've not done it before, I know I did. Simple job though. Just do as pleasant said and all will be good 👍. The blokes in the workshop gave me some abuse when I first did one.
  12. This should be the one
  13. Distel, Notch, Panther Geckos. All pretty much the same, Panther being the cheapest I believe. And made in the same factory as Distel.
  14. Great climber. I could only dream of being that good. I've seen her climb and it's so smooth. I think this is her second international win back to back. I have to say, well done to the UK & I team. Also a big congratulations to team Australia who had 5 climbers in the Masters out of 9. Jess Hamer beat her speed climb record I believe. Good effort by everyone involved. Just a shame my friend Mike Cuerwen didn't get up there. After his belting performance at the Europeans
  15. Sent mine to Spectrum plant or Northern Arb ( Rotatech) never had a problem
  16. Stihl MS201C-M 14" Aborist Chainsaw | Hayes Garden Machinery | Devon WWW.HAYESMACHINERY.CO.UK 35.2 cc 1.8/2.4 kW/hp 3.9 kg QuickStop Powerful and Responsive 3/8 PS chain From the same site as posted earlier. I couldn't tell you delivery dates as Husqvarna are very vague. These saws were ordered in October/November.
  17. It's not over priced at all. The Stihl equivalent costs more.
  18. I've got them in. Just need to get rid of the couple of mk2 one's first

    Hexa chain

Yes you still use a standard file and depth gauge
  20. The protecter forest I have are very comfy, but heavy in the grand scheme. I've tried the protector timber, and they are light in comparison. The best boots at the moment seam to be the Crispi forst. Very light and robust, unless you work on the rails. Although I don't know of any boot that lasts long on ballast
  21. These seam pretty popular https://carrs-billington-safety.com/haix-protector-timber-boot I have these took about a week to break in https://carrs-billington-safety.com/protector-forest-2-1-gtx

    Hexa chain

Great chain. Well worth it IMHO. Yes the files cost more, but you can get more than one chain out of a file maybe even two if your not heavy handed. They had a dodgy batch with the first set of files as they hadn't been hardened properly. They seem better now. As for sharpening they say do it 90 degrees to the bar I find angle of 10 degrees makes it cut better, but that might just be me
  23. Hawthorn and blackthorn for me. It burns very hot as said. I've broken a couple of grids burning the stuff.
  24. I didn't get anything in the end. I'm not that bothered really, just put some daft bids in on the of chance.
