  1. I might have a second hand one at work. Let me have a look on Monday, and I'll message you. I've got my 260 in bits, but that's an ongoing project
  2. In regard to the DMM recall, I've not been given any information about it from them as a dealer. I found out about it from social media. I've got ten of them getting dusty on a shelf. Keep getting asked about them, but I've no info and can't sell what might be a defective product
  3. Their usually spot on with delivery, I've never had any complaints.

    Happy

    Congratulations 👍
  5. All looking grand so far. Seams to be a nice area. I would love to head over there
  6. Welcome back. Good to hear from you. I have to say your looking well 👍
  7. Fair enough. I was just looking at the info I have on my phone. Probably would of looked more closely if on the laptop
  8. Yes
  9. From having a quick look at the parts diagram it isn't possible, as they don't list a 3/8 sprocket for the gear head.
  10. Mitre saw and stand. Only a cheap one, but meets my needs. Also some lego technic and some sorting/storage trays to keep my ever growing collection in.
  11. Yes, yes and yes. I will message you
  12. If you want one, I think I have a couple. Give me a pm in the morning and I'll double check

  14. I'm guessing your on about Richard with the chipper?
  15. I can't see why you wouldn't save it if you can, the price of the new equivalent is at least £1500. If it was me I'd get it done
  16. It just gets chucked on the compost heap. Job done
  17. Started hedge laying at about 12 at a local scout camp. Got the bug for trees etc. Started working and getting formal training at 16. Got climbing tickets at 18, and retired from arb work at 38. I now stand behind a counter flogging chainsaws and climbing gear, talking shite about jobs gone by. Generally complaining about how much my body aches now I've stopped climbing and getting fat. So retired life's not treating me to bad.
  18. From what I got told from one of the high ups at Husqvarna at the APF. The batteries contain a chip, and that's what they are waiting for. When the Stihl batteries came we got our pre season order in one go. We order these in November the previous year. Didn't get them till late September. Needless to say all the larger one's went within two weeks. I've got a feeling it will be the same when the husqvarna one come. Although we'll probably be getting 2 years of pre season order in one go
  19. You are lucky then having more than one sent. We've had one so far and that went within half an hour of coming in. In all truth we haven't had anyone put their name down on one as they aren't confident they'll arrive. On the upside we received some of the illusive T540iXP today. Still no batteries to sell with them though
  20. As far as I'm aware they do. With the SP33G you just need to file at 0 degrees down angle, and 10 degrees with the H30
  21. As Mark said they don't need much grease. It's literally just put some on your finger and smear it over the gears. Had them come in and they've been absolutely packed with grease, which they don't seem to like and wear the motor out. In my short time working at a repair shop, I've also seen over greasing on petrol models. All it does is throw the grease off the gears sending to the outside edge of the casing. If greasing at proper intervals, you don't need much more than a thumbnail size ball squeezed in
  22. Not that many to be honest, but there is a damn site more 550's than 572's about. Had a 572xp in recently and that got a new piston, just need the cylinder cleaned up and job was a goodan
  23. I'd save it if you can. There's quite a few 550's come through our shop for similar reasons, and it usually works out lot cheaper than a new saw.
  24. Let's hope so. It's had to of been atleast 3 and them not honouring the prices at time of order, then there’s the 5% rubbish and everything else. When I was climbing, if I couldn't do a job on the set date and then came back with an inflated price, I'd get told to F off. I don't how this is any different, apart from screwing dealers over whilst keeping themselves in good sted!
  25. We've had one delivered so far out of 10 from our pre season order last year and that was the just the XP never mind the XPG. Just put in this years pre season and didn't bother. Probably get them just after the Jan/February price rise, so they can get more money out of us dealers. @Mark_Skyland
