Go for the Rodeo or a Hilux if you can , we had a Navara and it was pretty poor , swapped it for a Hilux and never looked back , Nissan are now using a lot of Renault stuff on their cars , that can't be a good thing . K

One of the boys that works with me bought A Woodstar vertical splitter from Screwfix a few years back , and he says it's been fantastic . Slow compared to the one we use , but ideal for personal use . K

We have a few saws , but the 365 Husky works all day every day and has done for years. Way more reliable than the Stihl 441 we bought . K

Don't buy a 441 , I did and had all sorts of trouble , get the 461 or if you can get one a 460 , way better than the 441 . I M O !

Stihl 441 . drove me nuts !! Ended up trading it in for a 460 .

I had A Stein , leaked all over the place , mate had one and his was fine . Using a good old ex army goretex now , great jacket . K

Real slow sales now ! Not bothered though , tons of garden work and our pile for this winter is bigger than last year and still growing + drying super quick . looks like we are gonna have an easy winter ! K

You could get good weather in October , the West coast is awesome in good weather , but it's pretty in loads of other bits too , they call the Moray firth the Scottish riviera and the Fife fishing villages are beautiful , so's Perthshire. You could go up the West and down the East . I'm sure you'll enjoy it no matter where you go .

Oil sump guard ! The wrap type handle has this daft wee plate bolted on there , no idea what it's for though !

Pretty bad here at the moment , the dogs are getting them almost every day . I just use tweezers and pull them out , then a bit of sudocream , so far so good !
