In Scotland retired people can get big grants to change heating systems , my old mum just got a full new gas boiler and radiators for free ( she's almost blind ) , dunno if this applies down south . K

Sounds like a clutch problem , pull the chain casing off , remove the bar and shake it about , and listen .

Since this snow came , we have been run off our feet , used up almost all the dry split stock , and the lengths of cord are under snow , and I was aiming to process them in the next few months , between gardening jobs !! K
