  1. Couple of boys casual for me when I need them £50 from 8 till 5 and I pick them up , K
  2. Waitin on the rain stopping , spuds to plant and a load of beech to ring and split . If it aint dry in an hour I might go to the pub !
  3. Got a brand new in the packet genuine husky 15" .325 bar for £5.00 , howzat for a bargain . K
  4. We use a grey fergie in the yard it's great , but those John deeere telehandlers make my mouth water , if I win the lottery ! K

  9. We use a helko maul and an oregon maul and race each other at splitting , faster than a splitter , more fun and keeps you fit ! We ony use the splitter for knotty stuff and chestnut to get rid of it . K
  10. Try and get your hands on an old amazon , last for ever and shed loads of power too . We regularly over load our trailer and you wouldn't know you were pulling it . K
  11. Yip as Spud says , we have a compressor at the yard for cleaning ours I wouldn't steam clean it . K
  12. Maggie was good for the country at the time , I'd like to have seen her up against Blair , he's got away with murder in my opinion . K

  15. I got a call this morning from a woman wanting her compost heap transfered to her veg plot and dug in , nipped over shoveled it on top and rotovated it in with my wee Mantis . Job done two hours £100 better off . K

  18. We have had a few folks asking for small logs ( sticks I'd call them ) for those small sized stoves , so I'm now keeping a stock of them . I'd rather sell them than chip them ! K .
  19. A fair shift I'd say , hard graft on yer own firewood , great you have help . like that head on Timberbear's , looks the part , I made a similar splitting head for mine , works great too .

  21. You can't be up to them , my brother went away for the weekend and got his heating tank emptied , happening more and more . K
  22. Englebert Strauss do short leg cs trousers , boy I know has a pair and he's about 5ft 4" and about 15 stone . K
  23. Just back from a few days on Skye , could see brush fires in three or four places on the mainland in the dark , pretty spectacular sight . Guy in the hotel said they have seen no rain for about eight weeks , must be a record for up there . K
