  3. When I was younger not at all but as I get older I get injured easier and now have lots of toys to help with lifting heavy stuff and my climbing is much more efficient. I Think strength is not a issue but cardio and flexibility are key. I stretch every morning and feel a lot better for it. I also run, skip and bike to keep my cardio up.

  6. Brill cheers for the advice. was unsure wether to go for the 2.5 but i think the 1.8 will be more practical and get used more often.
  7. Evening All. I am looking for some advice please. I am looking to buy a mini digger to help out with both tree work and landscaping builds. The plan is to put a small grab (probably the one from riko) a post knocker and obviously buckets on the machine. My main question is that my local dealer is case and have offered me a great deal on a new 1.8 CX18c and i have no real knowledge about their machines. Has anyone has good/ bad experiences? I want to go new as find 3 year warranty a big plus and been down the old machine routes in the past and with work load being high need reliable kit. Any advice would be most welcome Cheers jake

  9. Evening all. Im at a bit of a dilemma with what to do best for me and my business and was hoping for some advise. I currently run a defender 130 tipper which i love sentimentally and has done me very proud of the last 4 years. It has ticked all the boxes and enabled me to grow as a business. Its like a penknife in the truck world! Now i find my self doing a lot more jobs where i do not need a 4x4 and especially if we are off road we don't need a chip box. and although i love my old landy i keep thinking its a waste of money driving road miles in it. The business has been growing steadily and we have just got the point of taking on a permanent third person to try and get jobs done more efficiently. my thoughts are to sell the landy and get a crew cab canter or cabstar chip truck and have a pickup aswell. All thoughts are welcome and i know this is bit of a ramble! Cheers Jake
  10. Start a collection of nationwide chip drop sites. obviously there would have to be boundaries and rules implied but i think it would be a good feature and handy knowledge to know
  11. STOLEN! Had a red gelert bag full of rigging gear Stein rc2000, straps, slings, crabs, impact blocks, rigging line, short pollarding line, plates, and my Buckingham spikes with Velcro pads nicked today. I know there's a very slim chance of getting it back but if anyone gets offered it please let me know so I can chase it up. Cheers Jake 07506889330 Worcester
