  1. It's been raining up here for months now . Our formula is , start at 9am work until you have no more dry clothes and can't feel your fingers any more . Then do it all again tomorrow .
  2. Pouring of rain and windy up here , can't remember when we last had a dry spell.

  4. Water at work Cider after , my favourite summer tipple !!
  5. 100% AGREE , Too much spare time if you ask me .
  6. We burn anything from pallets up . tonight it's Cedar and some rotten Ash I was too embarrassed to sell , happy days .

    Pick ups

    We have a Ranger and a Hilux , the Hilux never gives any trouble and the Ranger is always giving bother . So when the Ford goes it's another Toyota here . Both 57 plates both around 130k .
  8. I've a husky 242xp , great wee saw for that kind of work , awesome on a 13" bar .
  9. Got given an waterproof jacket from a mate that works off shore . I think it's called Sea Hawk ? Great for working in the rain , my old fall back is an ex army cammo goretex jacket , not as good as the other one though . Never wear leggings .
  10. Cuckoo been about for a month or so up here , graet to hear them .
  11. We keep it simple , double cab Hi Lux pick up load fresh hard wood , just above the level of the load area + £120 delivered local , no complaints . The only person I season wood for is me .
  12. It's a seroius amount of money , I could retire on a couple of weeks wages at that rate !!
  13. Need to play this by ear , my local dealer is a nightmare , so I recon any changes will be slow ! Like his service .

    I changed to Aspen , would say it's the way to go . Never had a problem with Stihl red though .
  15. Weather has me back home , so bought some tickets . A win would cheer me up .
  16. Supposed to be taking down a load of spruce today , way too much wind here ( wild ) , so back in the house . Another wasted day !!

  19. If it has to be a Stihl , if I was you I'd try and get a 440 or 460 , I bought the 441 when it came out and had nothing but bother with it . Husqvarna 372 is a bullet proof saw IMO and well worth a look . K

  21. I've had one for 18 years , never been offered any operation , just on omeprazol . Fine as long as I don't forget to take them !!

My brother in law has 2004 one , nothing but trouble with it , suspension air bags , abs sensors , steering box leaking , fuel pressre regulator , fuel pump , starter , 2x window regulators , fuel pipes rotten , brake pipes rotten , track rod and various ends , and chassis welded for last MOT . And only a genuine 78k on the clock !!
  23. One of my boys has just bought a Husky 435E , cracking wee saw and not expensive , Worth a look ! K
