  1. About 1200 rpm or a smidge under in low range PTO, will be about 350rpm on shaft.
  2. If I`m reading that right the atv is 15 years old, and done 1800 hours? 15 years = 180 months 1800hrs = 10 hours month = 2.5 hrs a week In my opinion that quite low hours, if the condition is good to reflect the hour you should be OK, you want to be looking at age related problems as much as mechanical defects, corrosion on the frame, perished hoses, pipes, bushes, seals, and such like.
  3. It depends if the course has been registered and approved with JAUPT to count for dcpc. I done hiab refresher course a couple of months back, asked the training provider about the cpc bit, he said the cost to have the course approved, and paying jaupt to run the course, would make it too expensive.
  4. Putting additives in the fuel is usually only effective if added before you have problems with waxing, they wont normally fix fuel that is already waxed. You could try lagging the filter bowl, or lines if they are in a draft off the engine fan.
  5. As breezeblock says I think greenmech do the cs100 as pto driven. Mount that on the trailer and use a longer pto shaft to power, or get a wide angle pto shaft to allow use on a larger range of tractor to trailer angles. Still only one power connection needed, I would think a compact tractor would struggle with hydraulic output to run a motor to run a chipper.
  6. I drove one, and it have a display on the dash, like a graph to show the dpf condition, has yours got the same? and does it show it as blocked? Sorry if your all ready said.
  7. Are you spraying it on? if so avoid getting overspray on the discs and pads, if you can get a bit of pipe on the end of the nozzle so you can direct the spray into the little holes on the chassis to do inside the chassis, and into cross members etc. If you can take the plastic liners out of the wings, it will make it easier to get to it, and get to other parts like metal brake pipes and so on. Again if spraying it on try and use a dust sheet to cover the upper body if your bothered about getting the wax over spray on, at the least put news paper on the wind screen.
  8. I think there is a 10 year warranty on them now.
  9. A lot of site`s are wanting hauliers delivering to them to be FORS http://www.fors-online.org.uk registered, one of the requirements is the warning signs for bikes, hence seeing a lot more of them, plus I guess a lot fitting them off there own back due to the increase in accidents with bikes.
  10. Looking at the spinney thing on the windscreen, possibly a snow blower, or plough?
  11. Tarmac put down properly will be robust enough for you.
  12. Craig.

    New Radio

I've got what seems to be an older version of the radio in your link, been ok, its got seals on the battery door to stop dust getting in. If your looking to keep it for a while, it might be worth getting a FM/DAB radio, because I believe the is talk of starting to turn off fm transmissions in a few years time, a bit like the digital tv switch over.
  13. Use both the same myself. I find the graph on the yr app handy, for a quick at a glance forcast.
  14. What about a hook lift trailer, with a z fold crane on? With a couple of different bodies it might be able go do away with some of your other trailers, to help off set some the initial cost?
  15. Has your unimog got an accumulator in the hydraulic piping for the 3 point linkage? If it hasn't it might be worth looking in to it, as it will give a shock absorber effect to the linkage. On mine the accumulator is mounted on the x frame, on the near side, about 120mm diameter with a flat top, and domed bottom with a single hydraulic hose going to a t piece in the lift circuit.
  16. Unless the is a short in the harness, it is unlikely to burn out the alternator. To check if you've got a short, make sure all electrics are turned off, disconnect the battery negative terminal and put a test lamp between the battery negative and the terminal on the lead or chassis, and give the harness a good shake and a bit of a pull and pushing, watching the lamp to see if its lights. Light equals a short, the area of the harness you where moving when the light comes on is a good place to look for a fault.
  17. Did you check the voltage on the charge light wire from the machine? you need power on that to start the alternator charging. The charge light earths through the alternator, via the small terminal. Once the alternator charge voltage equals the battery voltage the light goes out, as the light cant earth through the alternator.
  18. When you reconnected the battery, or the wires if working live, did you get a spark? Most times when connecting the battery you will get a tiny spark/ crackle from things drawing current, interior light, radio, volt dropper, tacho if wagon, but a noticeable spark would point to a current draw, if nothing is on, there is a good chance of a fault.
  19. They could be delivering pallets of compost to the store, using the walking floor trailer to move the pallets to the back, so a fork lift can unload them. I mate of mine works for them, and was saying some of the work is like that. They carry compost in both bulk and pallet, as well as tin of beans, and a lot of other stuff on pallets.
  20. Top job there mr village idiot, Cant wait for season 2, of the story at bedtime:thumbup:
  21. I was just thinking the same, the ebay user name looks familiar.
  22. Other thing to consider is, depending how keen the people your working for, motorway? they may insist the lamps are an, ECE regulation 65 complainant lamp, most of the cheaper leds don't meet this standard, the ones that do meet this are a lot more expensive for no noticeable difference.
  23. There is a green waste tip the other side of Chester , cotton abbotts farm waverton, next to where the Crocky Trail is. I`ll have to look to see if I've got a number for them. May be able to help you with the timber.
  24. I've got a turner hedge cutter made at the greenmech factory, still in use and going strong, I`ve owned it for about 19years now.
  25. I was looking at the specs on different machines a couple of weeks back, and the neuson ticked all the boxes for me, a bloke I worked with years ago demoed one probably about 1999/2000 and was impressed with it. No experience of the current models but CAT sell them badge engineered as their own, up to 2.7 / 3 ton so can't be too bad.
