1. Great looking truck there William. Nice job bringing her back to life. I love the old 127's, drove one London to Cape Town som years ago! Happy Xmas
2. Go back a page or two in the thread, he said that he has stopped making the Pro-tipper, due to profitability. Damn shame, good looking product
3. If you do a good mix of on off raod then an AT tyre, if more off road biased an MT. All decent make of tyres are pretty good these days, however, for toughness and longevity BFG AT's are pretty unbeatable, but are expensive. After that Coopers or General Grabbers are pretty good
4. Old styling, modern build: FJ | Models | ICON
5. Not used a 261, but my 260 is 7 years old and been a great saw. However, only good upto 16" chain. My old 361 was great saw too and ran that on a 18" & sometimes a 20". For power the 361 would leave the 260 for dead.

Are you looking for a new truck or something in good used condition?

I have a 2010 Transit 140ps Dc one stop tipper. 31,000 miles in silver

7. Forte engine flush works well, as do all Forte products. If you need some I have a few bottles going for good price, as I got a job lot a while back. Pm me if interested
8. Can you pm me the list please
9. Toyota Colorado if you want to keep the MOG reasonable, if not too worried and need a heavy duty tow ar, Land Cruiser 80 or 100 series. Will out last ANY of the other motors mentioned above, and do it in comfort!
10. I think you'll get about 4cubic metres in a double cab tipper, look up Hodge, he has one and should be able to confirm - beaten to it, by the very man himself!
11. @timtree81 - have you got any photos
12.

Steve,

13. I like the new shape Disco - 3 & 4, but I am a big fan of Toyota Land Cruisers. Friend of mine with a Disco 4 commercial had so many problems he came to the end of his tether, took the Disco back to the dealership, parked it across the front door and left! I told him to go find a 100 Series Cruiser. I saw him a couple of weeks later a very happy man - driving about in the cleanest 100 I've seen in a long time.
14. I don't think the 150 would be a good choice for hard use
15. £90 about the norm, maybe £120 if lucky or been with the contractor a while
16. 3.0tdi is a good engine and the w10 tdi is awesome, but they do seem to have a poor rep for reliability! Steer well clear of the patrols, they drink like you wouldn't believe!
17. Go for a Transit Tipper, plenty out there and easy to find spares
18. This is something I have been thinking about. Has anyone got something they could send me as a template - message me and I can give you an email address Thanks Chris Chris
19. @ Prolinep - I have a one stop transit double cab. Similar to DC in photo above, but standard body. Quoted £800 for alloy greedy boards/ raised high sides to a professional standard. Full custom body will cost £2800-4000 approx
20. Agree the IDF dressings are great, however, your comment about the use of tourniquets is nonsense! The use of a tourniquet does NOT necessarily mean the loss of that limb!!
21. I was privy to a TRL road test/crash test of one of the and it was a death trap, build/materials quality was poor to be polite. I personally wouldn't even get in one.
22. 372 or 461? - 461 without a doubt! Feels and cuts better.
23. My TW had the same problem after a major service by main dealer - problem was loose belts!
24. Think I am going to invest in one of the and I have a couple of decent hedge towers, so should eliminate the problem of balance on a ladder landscape model ok for most hedge cutting?
