  2. Really you should replace both halves as the two halves have matched bearing housings . This may render it an uneconomical repair using new parts . Alternatively a parts/doner saw of ebay maybe ......

  7. Not the ideal set I suppose but ok to test it . The jump leads melting sound like High resistance caused buy a bad connection or just too flimsy / thin leads . Try it with a set of Hefty leads that you could jump start a lorry with .

  10. I bought one of the first production run saws , a 2011 model . Had the carb changed within a week . Nothing went wrong they just said bring it in for an updated carb .......
  11. Undo the top and swing the shoot over to get a look at where the chip enters the shoot from the fly wheel . If it has been used lately on a lot of wet stuff some times it can clog and narrow down or even fully block the shoot . Might be that ??
  12. The old Mapro down the farm has a whif of it every start in the winter . Not buggered it yet .....

  14. I have Pfanner Zermatts and they are the most comfortable boots if you are standing still . Too stiff to walk about in but good for spiking . I use my Meindel wood walkers for most stuff ....
  15. Hi Pete . I notice you give these a good rep every time there is a boot thing going on and I am sure they are good . Just odd that no one else seems to mention them . Any body else out there with Husky Technical boots then ??
  16. True . Your time will come bud and all too quickly it will seem . Was working at a new build house today and a stone cutter bloke had a radio on now and then I got to hear a bit . Smooth FM ? It had all the stuff on of when I was 18-20 ish and it seemed like yesterday . I know you guys are only ribbing me and that's all good but in my head I am still 18 but in reallity I am 61 and where the feek has it all gone ?????
