  3. I mentioned XP saws as I have seen it on a 346XP . Ok . Fit it to home owner saws if you must but leave it off the pro saws .....

  5. One bloke has said it gets in the way when snedding . That makes it more dangerous me thinks ?
  6. I think the saw is safe enough as it is . I think a bloke at Husqvarna engineered it just because he could .

  9. Combine with the other thread and burn a mixture of Pop and Alder to dispel some myths !
  10. Never tried but don't like the look of it . Something else to keep hold of / go wrong . Does not seem to be catching on round here anyway .
  11. Leo Fender had to switch to Alder when they ran out of Swamp Ash . I prefer the swamp Ash bodies especially in one piece ..

  13. Years ago I was in the Chichester Harbor Wild Fowlers . Did all my work parties , Cleaned out ponds , removing shopping trollies , traffic cones and 3 feet of silt to promote duck breeding conditions . Set up and trappesd at least 3 years worth of clay shoots . Cleaned up the for shore of rubbish once a year and shed loads of other stuff . Never got to sit on the mud with me cannon and dog ever ! Gave up in the end ........
  14. I like Kieth Flint coz he is a pretty good bike racer at club level .
  15. The lightest ( in weight ) that I have are the Pfanner Gladiator Ventilation Kevlar Extreme ( red ) I also have 2 pairs of Gladiator Ventilation in the grey . These arte both type A front protection only with zip vents in the back of the leg . The thing is they are TOUGH ! . They last a long time . Better tjhan any other strides I have had .....

  18. Yep . First thing I do with all new saws ......Well any saws really .
  19. Mine came with dawgs/dogs/spikes . Have yet to see one withoutn .....
  20. Agree with you . Big difference between " seasoned " wood that is wet from rain and un " seasoned " green wood .
