  1. Wall to wall sunshine today Jon .......
  2. Ah . Sorry . yep I see what you mean . Don't know to be honest but my guess would be it would still have some left but just a guess ......
  3. Don't think you will be " chancing " anything . Sounds like Alder / Willow territory to me !
  4. The design intent is that there will be oil left in the tank when the fuel has run out so you never get a situation where the bar is not oiling . The problem is that when the bar is too long for the saw it wont be able to lube enough but it wont run out before the fuel .
  5. Your right . The cutters are in the wood for the same amount of time for a given chain speed . It would be if there was only one cutter on the chain ! I think the confusion is that a larger amount of chip is carried along the kirf . The space were the cutters were is now chip carrying space .
  6. Pretty please with sugar on top .......?
  7. Just recently my mate Kieth had an 8 wheeler load go . . Someone goes in with a lorry wearing hi viz etc etc it looks legit I suppose .....
  8. I can see 5 . I presume there is another front right ....
  9. Grind em any way . If you can get negative rake they will still work .
  10. And so much more money enabling that choice . Good on em !
  11. In the back of my mind cutting the " claws " off is a Scandinavian thing . I have done it to the front / sides ( helping with targeting the drop ) but not the back . .....
  12. Yea . Thats it really . Some times I think it would be cheaper for me to phone up the log merchant and get a £100 worth delivered on the drive all split and ready to stack than take away a load of arb wast process , stack , season la de da de da .......
  13. My wife swears she saw one 2 weeks ago come into the stables . I have to to say I did not witness this but she says so ........
  14. You need a green grit wheel .
  15. Stubby

    bored!!

    Topless massage ?
  16. Opinion is divided on this one ......
  17. What do you do with the resulting soil ?
  18. Asa Palmer . Noted film director and very good musition .
  19. I would stick to a standard 7 tooth as as although there will be less cutters on a .375 chain as opposed to a .325 chain they will be bigger . If on the other hand you get the saw ported then you might find it pulls an 8 pin ok .
  20. Bummer Matty . Feel for you . Hope you don't become just another statistic and get it sorted ...
  21. Not me Jon . The OP wanted to know .....
  22. If you went up one to an 8 pin you would get more chain speed without having to add any more drive links to the standard loop . This is what I have found with Huskys anyway . I should think the 880 would have enough grunt to do that on a 21" .......
