  1. Check out all the posts on top handle/climbing saws . My advice , for what its worth would be to try and source/afford a second hand ms200t and send it to spud if there are any niggles . Avoid a 201 . Things can be done to improve the 201 but why struggle up hill . Echo , Shindawa do make good saws . When you have got enough dosh squirreled away get your self a T540 ......
  2. I think pressure treated timber , pallets etc , its what they put in not so much what they trap ...
  3. Red Wood have refurbished Jensen .......
  4. Just get one Jon and send it to Pete . No problems from then on ......
  5. Thing is they had not stolen the Op 's aluminum sides yet so not technically thieves at that time ( not being silly here I know they are thieving scroats ) but you do have to have so much incontrovertible evidence to even get a prosecution these days and even then a slight cock up with any paper work and they are off scott free . I applaud the Op for doing all he could " within the law " but some time its futile . Balaclava .....pick handle .....dark night .....I never said that ......
  6. I think he has done that before .. Full of confidence obviously strong and put his faith in the Lord ! ......
  7. Jonsered home owner saw earning its keep above and beyond ! Praise the lord !
  8. Ah . Someone who has not heard of aspen ! . I could answer but probably best left to Eddie .....
  9. Exactly . No evidence . You said they did they say they didn't . You need a statement from the queen backed up by the pope before they will press charges . Its all in favor of the crim scrotes ......
  10. Your dead right there . 100% of their bids have been to the " seller " and no one else . Mmmmmm ( rubs chin thoughtfully )
  11. Yep and yep . 560 and 540 and any other saws that have them . It does make a difference albeit slight to start with but when spark screen eventually gets clogged the difference will be more....
  12. Ok . Get it sorted though . Not worth taking any chances .......
  13. Are you fair skinned ? Does sound ridiculous but some people are more prone than others . I am lucky in that respect as I have sorta Mediterranean skin but I know or did know of a roofer who died of skin cancer and he was a blondie .
  14. The PINK barrows is the clincher !
  15. Just point this chap to the Scandinavia North America thing .........
  16. Are we all gonna bid up into outa space again ?
  17. I think that if its seasoned properly then no , not a problem . Pine is probably one of the most resinous but Scandinavia and north America don't seem to have a problem .
  18. Comes as standard on the long hedge cutter amongst others . just order one of those . Pop the old one out swap the connections on to the new one and snap it in . Simples .....
  19. Hi Jon . Last two mornings there has been a frost followed by spring sun shine . Love it . COME ON YOU QUINS ..........
  20. Pfanner Zermats are the billie bollox for spiking some people say . Very rigid .
  21. It also tells you if it needs any up graded parts . The fist time I ran my T540 right out of fuel it would not calibrate itself after re filling so had he carb re set at the dealers . Took about 30 seconds . Its been fine ever since .
  22. Try getting the carb reset at the dealers on their pc . If that does not sort it then may be as Matty says ..an air leak
  23. If for any reason it has to have a warranty claim just put it back in .....
  24. Don't forget to take out the spark screen for a bit more go . ( assuming you are not compelled to use one where you are working that is )
