  1. Yep got you now . Just you did not say it was a brand new chain initially , just that you could get them all the same length ....
  2. Ah . I understand now . You sharpen them to the same length first , then grind the hells off .....
  3. The only reason they could be of unequal length is from un even sharpening . If you then make them the same length in the way you describe the will end up different widths .
  4. Go on to Robs site chaisawbars on here and enter in the model number etc etc . If no listing for your saw give him a pm .....
  5. I have the light weight pro bars with replaceable sprocket nose and they are very good quality and hard wearing .
  6. 1764---1864 . People go lots of saws from those chains on the rack ! ...

    As far as I can tell it is a 560 running . 375 pitch chain rather than .325 pitch . There are also other optional differences like High top filter and cover , bigger double dawgs , and full wrap handle .
  8. You have to offset these gooduns against the miserable scrotes .
  9. He has a Echo saw and two blowers also up for auction . 1 neg feed back Saw is a genuine 394 . Having had a few I can tell . He does state in the listing that he was messed about by a winning bidder who did not collect and pay . 394 is getting on a bit now ( although that one looks very clean ) I would not pay much more than the £260 it is at now especially with no bar and chain .
  10. Get the same on the Jensen A540 and found sometimes a log of about 6"-7" dia clears it ....

  14. Every thing I burn starts out as Arb waste . Never had to buy any wood ever .

  16. I know a girl who is , although I would not have known if her mother had not mentioned it . She is the best equestrian instructor for young kids I have ever seen and a great horse woman herself . She is in her early twenties ...

    Pretty much . Some saws lend themselves to it more than others . Check with spud . I have a 346 , a 372, and a 390 all ported by Steve . Really brings them alive .
  18. Yea seen that before . There was a bit showing it on its way back to the wood it came from at a rate of knots .....
