  1. Bad rap , or should that be rep ( reputation ) ? Whatever . Thing is people call it as they see it . If some one has a 261 that never lets them down they are going to big it up . Conversely if some one has one that goes through clutch bearing on a weekly basis and wont idle and keeps cutting out they are going to slag it off . Human nature .....

  7. Pfanner Gladiator Ventilation I find the most comfortable . Got 2x pairs of them but don't think they make them any more . Got 1x pair of the new Pfanner gladiator kevlar Extreem (in red ) but although similar in cut they are not as comfortable as the older ones . These are fronts only ....

  11. Apart from the Stihl pull start handle it looks right to me . I would query the quality of the big bore kit though . Highway or one of the other quality ones have proved to be ok . Some of the cheaper Chinese kits have proved to be rubbish ......

    If you can get a 346 then yes . Best with a 15" bar balance wise but would pull an 18" on the odd occasion . However as has been suggested 550 or 560 ........
  19. I got given , as a freebie , a pair of Sugihara gloves when I ordered some bars from Rob D . I have to say they are good . No saw protection on the backs but the palms and fingers are the best wearing gloves I have had to date .......
