  1. Cave entrance with a bit of Heras fencing by it ...possibly ...?
  2. Think what happens when you have a hard nose bar ......No teeth at all !
  3. I think all it means is you will have a slightly smaller nose radius . Could affect kick back potential possibly ....Chain speed wont be affected as that is dictated by drive sprocket .
  4. I have always found when they are in a big lump like that the shooting is not so good . One bang and the whole lot shift off . I recon its better when they are coming in twos and threes .....
  5. Chap we use is £2 an inch (dia ) on single stumps or £50/hr if its lots ...
  6. Usually a new spark unit will sort it but sometimes the fly wheel magnets loose their power .
  7. The AV spring by the strop loop bend very easily if you drop the saw on its strop . Changed it once but it bent again . Just ignore it now still works fine .

  10. Forgot to add .....the techlite bar is pants . Changed it to one of the older husky bars after it delaminated and was only held together at the nose sprocket end and the mount end . Apart from that is been a goodun!

    Axe men

In one of the very early episodes a few years back ( when it was not sooo obviously staged ) one of the swamp/river loggers pulled a huge stick out and said it would be worth a fortune . They went on to follow it to the saw mill. Someone building a new house bought it and it showed all the parts being madfe from the log to go into the new house most of which comprised of the mantel around the fire place . It looked beautiful when finished I must admit .
  13. Yea but old school saws have to have new carbs as well . MS 200 for a start . The carbs wont be " auto tuned differently " they tune themselves to suit the engine not the other way round .

  16. Do you think it will be a bigger version of 372/385/390 construction or a bigger 576 type with A/T/ ?
  17. Check with Rob D he likes a challenge !
  18. So new carb then ? . Ms 200t was a new carb eater !
  19. When needs must ! Very initiative . ( 2 other posts running with it in by the way )
  20. The split fuel line will have made it run lean possibly causing damage to pot and piston . Take the exhaust off and have a look ........
  21. O.K. I like a slightly slacker chain for less resistance .
