  1. This is a real long shot but I've just broken the tool rest holder on my coronet major lathe and wondered if anybody might have one tucked away in a back corner that they might want to sell. Failing that would a good welder be able to sort it, its cast so worried about other fractures which can't be seen yet. Pictures attached. Thanks Bob

  3. Anyone got an ideas on how they cut the table so round?
  4. That looks interesting, how have you joined it together?
  5. Can't see anything wrong there, I'd have parked in that empty space if I needed to.
  6. That's not good mate, from what I've read Axminster are good at sorting this sort of thing. Just looked up your lathe, looks the business:thumbup:
  7. Been tipping down all day
  8. Totally agree, the old vibram was too hard for good grip on shiny surfaces, great apart from that. If they have addressed that problem they will be excellent. Would also be interested in which boot you're fitting them to.
  9. So do we have to call you Stinky Fish now?
  10. Used to live in a place that had one of those installed, great output of kit for its size, would rate it higher than the morso squirrel for controllability. Only stove that I have lived with that I didn't rate was a villager Chelsea, serious pile of dog do. Virtually uncontrollable due to not having a seal between the 2 doors, couldn't see anything wrong with it just a bad design. Edit: The villager was still 100 times better than having an open fire!
  11. Exactly, we have a 2 bedroom house and have a 4kw morso squirrel heating the whole house and the water no other heating used at all. All down to a well insulated house with good double glazing.
  12. Fantastic, loved that thanks for posting. Great to see the old skills and machinery.
  13. I've seen that truck about when I've been visiting my brother, think you must live up the road from him. Was wondering if you were on here.
  14. In a moment of boredom I had a look at there website and found their careers page in less than one minute http://www.enwljobs.co.uk/careers-home/
  15. Covered fairly well on radio 4 news today. Reporter was saying he saw one of the protestors getting a severe beating at the hands of the security services last night.
  16. Thanks for putting the other side of the story, very interesting
  17. Ouch! You don't need that.

    Osmo oil

I've noticed a lot of you guys are using osmo oils but which ones as they do several. Ideally I'd like to be able to use just 1 for interior and 1 for exterior, any ideas?
  21. Good on you Rich, that just the right attitude. Thinking of you mate.
  22. Thought you were planing on gathering up a few of Dawson's and sending down to him
  23. Mick There's no way I'm cycling to training sessions, you're 550 miles away!
  24. The year we did it we spent the next 2 days riding back to Somerset. Day 1 London to Brighton Day 2 Brighton to Salisbury (110 miles if memory serves) Day 3 Salisbury to Bridgwater Was a great trip, my first 3 day outing on a bike. Topped only by 2 months cycling in Kenya.
  25. Feeling it as well!
