  1. Mick There's no way I'm cycling to training sessions, you're 550 miles away!
  2. The year we did it we spent the next 2 days riding back to Somerset. Day 1 London to Brighton Day 2 Brighton to Salisbury (110 miles if memory serves) Day 3 Salisbury to Bridgwater Was a great trip, my first 3 day outing on a bike. Topped only by 2 months cycling in Kenya.
  3. Feeling it as well!
  4. Christ that takes me back, did that (on road) back in 1983 hell of an experience. Didn't realise it was still running.
  5. And then you need a planer/thicknesser
  6. Some friends saw that production a couple of weeks ago, came back raving about it, they loved the 3d
  7. Its the stuff I linked to in the first reply, still reckon it'll do exactly what you want.
  8. I asked the same a while back, general consensus was 6 inch (150mm) with a 1 inch gap. I ended up going with a 2 inch gap and its worked really well. This is the thread http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=42932 Log shed air gap?
  9. 32mm mdpe should just about do it I reckon. I've used it unsplit before and the stack just rolls sideways on the pipe Wall thickness should be fine. http://www.pipestock.com/mdpe/mdpe-pipe-blue/
  10. If you haven't already got one, put a winch on the mill. Makes milling a doddle.
  11. They're great bits of kit, make sure you keep it sharp
  12. You'll enjoy using that.
  13. Has anyone who wears prescription glasses found a solution to dust?
  14. Fantastic, I think I've owned a few of those dogs!
  15. Can you give us a fair comparison of the 2 once you have the gransfors, can't remember a review from someone who owns both.
  16. If you'd asked me where that was I would never have guessed London, beautiful photo
  17. About average speed tonight.

    Dakar 2014

Would love to watch but too tight to pay for TV (except TV licence)
  19. Thanks Steve and Jodi Lots of hard work much appreciated.
  20. Changes the job completely, wouldn't want to mill without the winch now. Simple too.
  21. I'd be ecstatic with that!
  22. I think the x27 has the same head as the x25 but a slightly longer handle, x27 is about perfect for me and I'm 5'10".
  23. I bought one of those sharpeners, its now my preferred way of propping my shed door open. Absolute rubbish, an oil stone is far better.
  24. Mate of mine did all sorts to his disco, bigger wheels, suspension lift etc etc, insurance company didn't bat an eyelid. He put a winch on and they refused to insure him! Worked out OK in the end, he went to a special list insurer and ended up paying less.
