  1. You got one of those old 1960's Saab's? Some of them were 2 strokes.
  2. How are you planning on treating them? And what with?
  3. I seriously looked into doing meat goats about 10 years ago, couldn't identify a big enough market to male it worthwhile. Most of the traditional markets were already saturated.
  4. Now that made me smile The thought of you and silky playing out an episode of the young ones on the train

    Wind

Yep, think we're in for a blowy week. Presently forecasting 71mph for Wednesday. Only 50-60 over the weekend.
  6. Complete devastation at a holiday home I checked on today
  7. I'll second that, mate thought his diff was gone. He even got a spare one, went to fit it and discovered it was the prop bearing.
  8. Only one I've seen was a husky with a very small (8" ) bar. Was owned by a retired garden machinery dealer who picked it up when in Sweden on a visit to the husky factory, or so he told me. Looked a handy thing to keep in the car boot to clear small windblown branches etc.
  9. Lovely job, thats some gorgeous wood
  10. I think these were discussed recently, try doing a search
  11. Any links? Can't find them in completed listings.

    Snowmen

    Help, I can't stop!!
  13. We were OK here, just a few branches off the holly but Tom Lines next door lost 2 of his sheds. Northerlies are worst for us as the wind accelerates down through the glen from the 3 lochs and we're right at the bottom, you can lie in bed at night and hear the gusts coming.
  14. Was wondering how you had got on in the storm, you must have taken the full force of that north westerly seeing as there's nothing between you and Greenland.
  15. I like that, very nice. What's it like to turn?

    Snowmen

Must stop showing the other half these threads, got a request for 3 of these snowmen, she knitted the scarves! Thanks for the idea Bob.
  17. Wind passed now, started snowing quite hard. Next problem is other half's grandparents in Rhyl, they were evacuated from their home by boat this morning! Both well into their 80's and quite frail.
  18. Lightning started now, can't see the power or phone staying on for long.
  19. Seriously windy here, according to local weather station gusts over 60mph with a 10 minute average of over 50mph. Will see what damage there is when it gets light.
  20. Much like the sanding then
  21. Stunning work, welcome to the forum. What do you hollow with?

    Jokes???

I know your post lady - you're a brave man indeed!
  23. Exactly what I did, certainly don't regret it
  24. Put up some photos of what you've got including all the extra bit like the screwy in thing and I'm sure we can all help. To answer your question though no you don't need a scroll chuck but it does make some things easier

    Snowmen

Not when I get a catch with the skew and the work of art goes flying over my shoulder
