  1. Last nights meal, homemade Thai curry using all homegrown chillies including our first naga. Was a little warming!!
  2. A bit off topic but the other day I was working with a youth who when agreeing with something I'd said kept using the phrase 'true that'. Now being an old git this was starting to grate a little so, jokingly I told him to stop it as it was really annoying. He went up in my estimation a lot by turning to me and saying 'true that'
  3. The best - either the Jam in 1982 or Drunk in Public (the levellers) at a tiny gig at Bridport football club sometime in the early 90's. Biggest disappointment - Chilli Peppers at V, just dreadful.
  4. Read this http://www.thinkdefence.co.uk/2012/02/springer-when-uors-go-bad/ I just did and don't think I'd want one if you paid me
  5. I live 25 miles away, and I know you can't get a ferry till tomorrow morning
  6. I'm a lot closer, bet I beat you round there:-)
  7. You must have worked in some posh places. Most of the farms I've worked on that would be referee to as the 'new' trailer.
  8. Bought a small walk behind tracked dumper, got it cheap cos it jumped out of top gear so was 'unuseable'. Got home, put a bunch cord on the lever to hold it in gear, works a treat.
  9. Nicely done guys:thumbup:
  10. Just started drinking my first batch of homebrew. Woodfordes wherry, been in the cask nearly 8 weeks. As above it could have a bit more body to it but all in all I'm quite happy with it.
  11. I think you may need to confirm the measurements before anyone will make you an offer.

    Project 6x6

My mates got one of those with a crane behind the cab, a bit rougher than yours and has had the back axle removed at some point. Will try to get some pics in the next couple of days..
  13. Only way to keep 1running is to have 3 spares
  14. Isn't that the same for all log splitters? Don't think I'd want a log splitter that didn't have the power to go through a finger.
  15. Love that, great piece of timber too!
  16. Looking really good there. One of my favourites so far. Might have a go myself, if only to prove it's a lot harder than it looks.

    found a top handle

You've got it spot on there, more about what the saw means to me rather than what the saw is. Also happens to be the first saw I ever used, even though I was quite young and don't remember it being a top handle.
  18. Stop whinging man, it was only a couple of weeks ago you spent the whole weekend lying in a hospital bed

    found a top handle

Going to see if I can get it running. Just for interest really, certainly won't be using it in anger but would be nice to have it on the shelf.
  20. Just found this in the back of my dad's shed. McCulloch 'the Californian' Anyone got any info on them?
  21. Looking good there. :-) :-) Now go and get some wood through it (and don't forget the videos)
