  1. Been working on this piece of birch for a couple of evenings, quite pleased with it. The top lip raised one side as I was sanding it this evening, I left it as I quite liked the look. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. I had one of those once, it was all in Spanish 😁 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Really is worth saving up for a bit and getting a fiskars x27 especially as you say you are thinking of getting something better in the future. Buying the right tool once is a lot cheaper. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. I'd sack the lot of 'em, you're not getting value for money! 😁 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Really wet day here Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Good argument for putting a piece of paper in the box telling you to take the spacers off before fitting bar Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. We noticed 😁 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Of course it'll unlock, might need a pair of bolt croppers rather than a key though Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Well that seems conclusive, any links to that? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. Well its locked isn't it? 😁 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Mine is a Kubota, great engine but the body work is starting to get a bit tired. Basically the same as this one. http://www.trackbarrow.com/page3.htm If I had the chance to get one with a hydraulic tipper at the right price I'd jump at it, would be even more versatile. 12. Mines rated at 350kg, I think that load was a wee bit over that. No idea about the angle it will pull up, pretty steep though. Across a slope is a bit different, had it on its side a few times. Got a tow bar on mine too, needs a bit on the front for balance/grip but very good for shifting trailers around with the ground as wet as it is now. P.S. Only paid £200 for it as it jumped out of 2nd gear, I put a bungee on the gear lever to hold it in place, works a treat. 👍 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Put bolsters on mine yesterday, this load may have been a little ambitious though, wouldn't pull in second gear. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app

  16. How satisfying would that be? Make your own mill to mill timber for yourself. He's continuing that great tradition of a bloke in a shed tinkering and adjusting things until it works like he wants, fair play to him. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app

    Tools

Bought a halfords professional socket set back in the late 90s, and yes it was an emergency, but they've been great. Knackered the 3/8 ratchet after about 5 years and they replaced it for free, apart from that its been great, I'd buy one again. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app

  24. I think difflock will be along soon to give a very in depth reply to this. I'm sure he'll give you a clear and concise answer, trouble is by tomorrow he'll give you a completely different one as he'll of changed his mind.😁 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
