  1. Totes legit on gangly crack willow
  2. Use an oil spout on it. The petrol ones break every ten minutes or so. Que someone saying they have had them for years with no problems and that they also love stihl twisty fuel caps
  3. Well you got a nice looking curve in on quiff. Fine looking truck you have there. Here is my last camper:
  4. Ace. Live in?
  5. I have heard this can wreck the front axle but cannot verify this! Had many manual hubs on hiluxs and never had any bother from in locking and locking the hubs before. Probably some excellent advice over on a Mitsubishi or l200 forum. I would ask the question there as you will get vehicle specific advice http://www.l200forum.com
  6. I would be looking at a lwb hiace with the 2.4d non turbo engine as a good option also
  7. Having owned 3 large campers ( merc 508 811 and lwb tranny) I am really really enjoying the small size - nippy and a doddle to get about anywhere in. If it's just for you I highly reccomend this size van for yet camper
  8. I have a vw t4 4x4 syncro. It's a pretty got all rounder. Yes they are insanely expensive to get into compared with similar vans of same age but like hiluxs and mercs etc they have a good rep for being pretty reliable. They also good there value well (like a landrover I expect them to be up in value of next decade). Mines just a work/ family transport/ camping missions vehicle but plenty people out there ready to convert to campers pretty cheap. Personally I am into reliable more old fashioned vehicles and don't need vans to drive like cars! Reports are that the t5s especially the 2.0tdi are less reliable and made a bit more lighter ( transmissions etc)
  9. What happens with brake? Have been impressed with saw so far. Expected it to be heavier. Seems like a 44 but with more grunt. Got it with a 36" bar which is unbalanced and I thought it'll never pull this, but seems to cut fine. Will be sticking a 24 on though.
  10. I have just got one of these saws and haven't noticed anything! Will look out for this. Is it an oil tank breather issue?
  11. Looking forward to that Mr eggs
  12. Lovely day for a reduction. Could have done a bit more top corners but was a subbie day and boss was happy
  13. L and s engineers
  14. It'll twat a nice wall if it goes and it's very unbalanced now anyways. Client wants it out, was just checking I had got the ID correct really. Cheers
  15. Good tip about flipping every other slab, not heard that, makes sense I guess, stops it all warping the same way
  16. They'll find people, but spect a good amount of them will be next to useless
  17. Been offeted the same, people looking for subbies then offering rates like that. Not hugely tempting, specially using own kit
  18. Agree! It is a def a seperate tree, rather than a large part of (not sure if pics show that)
  19. Just been asked about this, sister tree is away and half rung up. Suspect kretz. Canopy looks in good shape, but very exposed and weighted one way after sister tree has failed. Ta
  20. There is a thread somewhere on cheap Chinese Alaskan style mills, worth a read. You will hate milling with a 365. Def get a 90cc plus saw for the job and if you have nothing to do with it after you can likely sell it for the same money. 075 076 stihl are a relatively cheap way of getting a lot of saw for milling with (111cc). Chainsawbars.co.uk stocks a few types of mill. Sound advice from Rob from their aswell
  21. Not sure but think that's where i got mine
  22. Have a gooden!
  23. Tech-TACH TT-20K is what spud recommended some years back. Still works, does the job, not used others so have no comparison.
  24. https://arbtalk.co.uk/index.php?/topic/109809-Stein-Kask-Helmet-Issue
  25. I wouldn't bother with stein/kask one. I look forward to mine irrepairabley breaking
