  2. Meybs time to get her own chipper and tipper? Sounds like you have all the necessary kit and knowledge. I do work for myself and sub out, it's a nice combo for me. I sub for less than 150 sometimes to pals, but only using my climbing kit and the Craics good. Wouldn't be able to do that much though.

  4. Tipper conversions seen to be more tha 3k. Some firms advertising at leas but when you ring them it's not. It's enough to make me definitely make my own chip box and use a shovel for bit anyways. Got a tipping caged trailer also. Hoping to diy tipper conversion in Sept as the rams and pumps are 500 quid ish.

  6. If your using a 4x4 for work id be amazed if it wasn't covered in dents and scratches after a year or two. Meybs if all its doing is a tow vehicle you'd get away with it. But in and out of fields, woods, even alot of reversing in right yards seems to be a receipt for dings...... I guess I'd just be scared to put a vehicle like that to work!

  13. In fact any tips appreciated on this, was going to have the chip hood coming 60cm over the chip back. Is this enough? Overkill? I was going to have trailer drop catches on it so I can whip it off in a flash and shovel that chip out.....dunno what's really essential. Ta
