  1. Lads/lasses on full time Mick or subbie as and when? 3 does seem to mean your actually still human at the end of day not just a monosylabic sofatard.
  2. Looks a nice wood. You felling as well Jonathan?
  3. Mmm. Anyone messed on with a 190t? Just went to start it to check oil flow ( was fine) and the fecker would start. No fuel getting to spark plug. Good spark. Good gap. No wet plug. Runs when drop a dash on air filter. Throttle and choke linkage all good. Fuel line seems good, thought I could have nipped it when pulled the tank, but seems well. Hesitant to pull the carb as was working well before and haven't touched it. Lol, really hate saws sometimes. Just when your thinking you've got the hang of fettling them.
  4. Don't get the up the tree fag breaks that way though Mick. Sounds pretty efficient, 3 man team?
  5. Honestly connie bashing from a mewp was so much better than climbing, I actually really enjoyed it! 2 in basket, cut and Chuck.
  6. Just had to change the oil pump on a ms190t. Ridiculously complicated. Stayed cover, flywheel, whole side case, brake handle, and both fuel and oil tanks to be removed first. Seems to be oiling better now. Hate those little ms170 style oil pumps too. All good now like. 190t anyone? Hardly used!
  7. Yah, seller is claiming he was hacked. Amazon say they will issue a refund. Well see what happens. Guess it was too good to be true
  8. Mild alarm bells ringing with talk of bravado and enjoying the revving of the saw..... Stay safe pal
  9. Openspaceman sent them to me and can forward what I got if you pm me your email
  10. Didn't get to the cost part. That does seem quite dear. Would prefer a 4x4 dyna I think https://goo.gl/images/imKDMt
  11. So far rob mine is holding up well. Have had it a good few months and paint only just starting to come off. Rails seem good as new. What has the rail edge been treated with? Just heat or is satellite or something mad like that?
  12. Correct. Before I bought it, there has been alot of heat around the clutch. Side cover all bubbled and oil worm the same, some of which plastic has slagged into the needle bearing. Cleared it all out, dremelled some bits off. Much less chain creep but not perfect, doesn't cut out with the brake on, starts with the brake on and with a were tune up doesn't require throttle to start. Have ordered new side cover, clutch springs, oil worm gear and needle bearing to eliminate this hopefully properly. Joe worth a check if your getting chain run on
  13. Special branch is a excellent name! Keep us posted!
  14. Interesting, someone told me years ago that was elm, and I never questioned it.
  15. Yes, was extraordinarily grateful for the mewp. Good fun with the folk I was with also
  16. Yes it had it's place, but many variables and no one wants to see anyone hurt! Film it though, it may make the famous tree felling fails compilations!
  17. Been on with a fifty something meter conifer hedge reduction last few days. Approx 3m off the top. Thankfully had a mewp. Chipped it all with a cs100. Well impressed with it, eats connie very well.
  18. Just got a battery dremel witj diamond files. So far this seems excellent but only had it a few weeks. You'd have to be ok at file sharpening with this option to get the angles/depth correct though.
  19. Let's do it!
  20. I am a sole trader. No staff just subbies. Been asked for a duns number to carry some work out for natural England. Registration looks easy but I am not a Ltd company etc. Anyone had to do this or know anything about it? Ta
  21. I will come and do it for 3500 gbp
  22. Ormiston yew just south of Edinburgh is a goodie if you have your own transport
  23. Been keen to hear what thay estate in Scotland have to say about them. Been on a few jobs where we had a lot of chipping to do and alot of it went to branch logging. It was a tow behind petrol machine. Produced hundred of net bags of branch logs. The lad was going to make biochar with it. He was chuffed but reckon it took easily 2 or 3 times as long to process and with tiny ends had to be chipped anyways.......id say if you have massive site probs a big chipper and tipping grain trailer and whole sale the chip is the most economical.......sadly.
