  1. What sprocket are you using? Gustharts sold a lad i mill for the wrong 3/8 sprocket for lo pro on 660, which caused premature chain wear
  2. Something 40 to 50cc will fi as has been suggested. Echo and makia/ Delmar are decent other brands as well as stihl/ husky. You want new or used?
  3. Where you import from and how much. Looks the tits
  4. Well blyth council say the Greeks didn't have beards....not really sure what they are on about but wanted them to be happy with it anyways. Every drawing I sent them had a huge beard in.....too many chefs I reckon. Only took 30mins to shave it off and make it look ok. Definitely reckon was better with bigger beard though. Also think preferred it unburnt tbh. Made a massive tenon in the elm stump and 2 of us lifted it upright once the tennon was slotted in place. Love chainsaw joinery
  5. Installed today. Council demanded beard trim.
  6. "Ooh Great! No ones on the blower yet" Lols, we do all secretly feel this though, even just a little bit. And always resent it when it's not you
  7. Had exactly the same as you with one of these saws. Went on and on trying everything, sadly i never got to the bottom of it. The only saw that has ever beaten me! Spud is probably right. Check the flywheel and ignition coil combo is correct. Best of luck!
  8. Me and a pal thought this also. He got pulled in Scotland once and the coppers were having none of it. Prosecuted him for it, points fine court case etc. Doesnt mean they were right mind you . Any sense in just buying a blank trailer plate off Ebay and stamping 1800kg on it? Obvs unsure of legality of doing this but essentially it's just a label. Wonder what is required to down rate a trailer?
  9. Looks same as My ms361 . You can drill it easy and there is the wee casting for the nuts to fit in. If you so desire.
  10. We get a negative draft sometimes, usually weather dependent, but opening or shutting various windows and doors usually sorts it. Doesn't happen very often maybe twice a year and the stove is lit all winter. I'd say it's not too unusual. Obvs you want to know if your liner is ok anyways and as said check batteries in smoke alarms.
  11. Enjoyed that thanks. Looks like there was plenty volume on them
  12. I'd also check the cutters are all close in length lefties compared to righties. Don't think this is the bother here but I have had it do funny things with uneven cutter length
  13. Pretty dissapointed, I had assumed this thread was about Brian blessed, hawkmen and lasers. I got open water padi a few years back. Diving is awesome. About as off this planet as you can feel and still be on it.
  14. Don't know it's my internet, but says video unavailable for me.
  15. Swot I was thinking, support you ladder real good on first cut. Fix it down with screws. Eye it to check its level ( look right down it) and not bend or scewed.
  16. How are people finding there 550xp once the warranty is up? Local saw shop has said he wouldn't touch one past 2 yr old unless it was free! My 026 seems to be close enough is speed and weight to my 346xp. Personally I am a sucker for the slightly older, tougher saws, but it's mostly just me using them and I'm am happy to maintain them.
  17. Which way is the bow? From start to finish or sideways across the board? Is it on yours first cut or something develops as you go through the log?
  18. Just pinch them together and stitch it. Worked well for me. I thought it would just tear again immediately but it has lasted surprisingly well
  19. You looking for new or used?
  20. Hang on in there! There are really good hard working lads and lasses out there, it's just finding them that's the golden ticket I suppose. Good idea asking for x years experience as the should have a realistic expectation of what the work entails. Personally I flit between my own jobs and sunny work and an unsuited to full time employment with anyone! But would consider part time employment if the right employer came along. I guess that's the hard bit, lots of the hard grafting folk in this game end up wanting to run their own show a bit. But I do know a handful of really good lads who have been steady away with an employer for years now - it is possible. Agree with you on the courses, they are like a soft taster for fiddling with kit! Had a lad out on experience ( paid) but pulled a sickie after day 1 of a 3 day job. Annoying
  21. Yeah I reckon just give then a day rate for you and the kit your taking. That way it's dead simple and the jobs all their responsibility
  22. We can but hope
  23. You after dimensions etc?
