  1. Put in several enquiries offering addresses and postcodes and la refusing to give me a map with tpos on. They want a specific map with the Individual trees on so they can cross reference. Last few times they just sent a map out so I could see what did and didn't have a tpo on. Is this normal? I really dont want to have to do a map for 5 different properties all within a stone's throw of each other.
  2. Thanks! Any idea on where to get parts? Do most chippers have timing belts?
  3. I'll have a look see when I've next got a dull moment. Thanks
  4. Mmmmm. Best place for spares?. Possibly just me in this chat anyways...
  5. Squirrel is good. Got a stovax brunel 2cb the now which belts it out well and has nice trad design. All time favourite is jotul 602 few varieties available but same design since 1930. Heats up fast, and can take descent length of log.
  6. Always liked the look of the extra cab d22's. Pleased they seem better than the newer ones
  7. Its just Mr Pierce normally. I'm near Allendale. You?
  8. Itching to get out snowboarding now. No snow in pennines yet
  9. 5.9 shouldnt slow up on the hills too much. Jesus! Hard to tell in the pics isn't about the size of a normal 4x4 pickup or more like a tranny?
  10. I prefer it when someone else just does a water bowline whatever with your rope and you have to beat the shit out of it with a lump hammer for 20 minutes to get it out after.
  11. Ah yes ofcourse. Forgot how waspy they are.
  12. Ideally you could just borrow a known good one. I had a bother with a saw and the spark seemed good but just went weak sometimes. I guess you could wait til it stops working, pull the plug and check spark then.
  13. Also anyone know about these lombardini engines? They need timing belts doing or are they non interference?
  14. Was the bird sounds off the music or recorded by drone?
  15. Sounds pretty damning. What year / model was it? D22?
  16. How much cutting was involved to open it? Did it need welding/brazing back together? Got me a dremel and not afraid to use it. On a side not I just found my 2511 air filter lying on the workbench. Sheet, guess that's been off for a couple days since I last cleaned it. Sigh
  17. Expect I'll have to get the exhaust off mine now I know it's worth doing
  18. Let us know how you get on with the toiny chain. Thought about doing this but always thought it might be a bit much for using on 35cc saws. Also pita to sharpen!
  19. What was the job then? You cant just say all that and not tell!
  20. The ones that export for top dollar are usually the solidest most reliable ones. Pre d4ď Hilux, old shape mazda/rangers are the ones I know of making strong export money. Which is also handy as when your finished with them you can sell them for decent cash as well. 6k should get you something well decent I'd say. I'd be more interested in well looked after low miles pre dpf older pickup than a newer one with alloys and heated seats myself
  21. When I'm subbing I'll be there when asked to. If its radge work and long hours just make sure your paid accordingly. If you dont like starting early, just do what you have agreed then stop! I'm not Into being up before 6. And ideally it'll not be much before 7. but when I am i usually appreciate being up and about that time of day. Breakfast and brew in a nice quiet for once house, sun coming up etc.
  22. Great, looks good. Hopefully this will fill the gap while the arbtalk tree fungi app is down. Nudge nudge
  23. Great watch thanks for sharing
