  1. £ 142 for pot and piston from l and s engineers https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/106908
  2. You may only need a piston
  3. Defs talk to shavey on here. He may have a used one also. I would def check your compression and also check if you have a spark before such a purchase
  4. Excellent
  5. Any chance we can have this app back Steve? I can no longer impress clients pretending to scan trees with my phone and determining the fungi
  6. Non of the chainsaw dust from my jobs goes to waste. I use one of these to reform it into brickettes. It often triples the job time, but I am totally ripped. Thinking of getting one on a splitting ram so I can compress them more and save space.
  7. Nope As with cars, the energy (emissions) required to make new is pretty horrendous. Don't know the figure for stoves but for cars it's about a third of its total co2 emissions are just in the making of it. Car scrappage scheme wasn't about emissions, just economy boosting really, and now everyone's stuck with poncy cars they can't fix with totally made up emissions stats. Anyways, if people have well made old stoves that they operate correctly let them be. I'd be looking at replacing oil gas coal central heating if emissions are what get you going
  8. Which Saturday the 23rd?
  9. Kevin, I know your not stupid enough to think anyone who is anti trump doesnt work? Sure there are a tiny fraction of people who career protest but from my experience it's a tiny tiny percent or people at protests. I think your definitely jumping to conclusions about the 'anti-establishment, anarchist, hippy'. In my experience there are alot of highly motivated grafters in amongst a few loafers. Kinda like most walks of life really.
  10. I was just today pulling a hefty trailer about In the old hilux thinking I could do with something old tech reliable with a bit more grunt. Not in my price range sadly, but one day!
  11. I'd tend to agree. Carb butterfly screw I bet
  12. Have you googled the hell out of it? Try searching for it in Russian eta This might be it? https://sawhawgz.com/threads/husqvarna-autotune-diagnostic-tool-manual.220/
  13. Thanks, it's def getting milled, it's whether we go to the expensive getting a forwarder in to shift it to a mill or whether we slab it bit and hoof it onto a trailer eta. Will start it off with 40 or 54mm boards then.
  14. Aye not been on the lo pro long. It's friend's setup but been dead impressed with speed of cut so far
  15. I m sceptical in that I reckon some of them aren't up to much. But had good results from silica, arnica , and a handful of others which names I forget. Agree even if they are a total placebo, placebos still have a measurable effect.
  16. Well good luck. I advise not ignoring it and pretending it's gone away if it hasn't or keeps coming back for bit. Hope it gets well fast
  17. The shake in the photos was only the start sadly, I thought I'd taken more pics but no. Middle board had a crack that by the time we had finished it it opened up enough to get your little do get in. They were 3 inch slabs though and you g straight to a furniture make who will season then slice the wee burrs up for inlaying eta so hopefully the shake won't matter too much as not much was in the burrs. Jonathan, while I've got your attention, how would you slab some rippled syc? If at all?
  18. Don't know why black thorn but defs seems to cause more infections
  19. Motorfactor may be able to help. They may have a spec for the glow plugs and how many could be a clue
  20. Did some burr oak today with lovely new stihl lo pro ripping chain. Started out very excited but sadly things for worse and worse timber wise. Disappointingly as the burr got better and better the shake became alot worse. Still hopefully useful to someone
  21. Thus not owning a single autotune saw and having a 1996 hilux. It'll catch up with me eventually I guess
  22. Somewhere In Russia there will be a downloadable hacked software for this that will work fine is my bet
  23. A pal of mine had this. Took about 6 months of hand getting inflamed etc. Eventually they did surgery and removed the smallest bit of thorn which had worked it's way into a knuckle. I'd look at things which will draw it all out rather than antibiotics as it will keep getting infected if there is a tiny bit still in there. I am extremely sceptical of homeopathic stuff. However I have used silica for getting out things like angle ground tungsten flecks from the eye, blackthorn and splinters up the nail. I was surprised at how quickly the offending foreign body removed itself. Also soaking in hot extremely salty water is excellent
  24. Certainly picked some fair weather to spend 6 weeks camping.
  25. Often they are below injectors if you can find them
