  1. Yes big double above cab. Lots to do to the Inside. It's all boarded and Insulated so a good start. Hydraulic ramp on back too for the decking area
  2. I've just bought an 814 swb horsebox. Wants an mot and converting inside. 750,000km on the clock!

I don't do facebook at all or any other social media, I do remember when arbtalk was busier, but still enjoy it as is ( excluding some tedious members who have almost gone away now) . Don't really have anything to compare to. Hpoc.co.uk seems alot slower than it used to be also. Fb sounds balls, from what I hear on here, although slagging off peoples boots does sound pretty tempting.
  6. Can't remember exactly whereabouts you are? Stanhope? Over the hill in allendale the TO said to pretty much crack on with kretch trees even if in conservation area. Said you can give a 5 day warning to them. Take plenty pics so you can proove obvs
  7. Not really familiar with the to.ber your using, but certain woods split worse than others. Latch cedar and sequoia are very stable, oak can be bad especially if carved from the round. I guess your climate will dry it out pretty fast as well. After carving try and let it dry slow. Keep in shade, and in cool if possible. Oil can help slow the moisture drying out, but ultimately trapping moisture in to slow drying/reduce cracking, brings its own problems, black staining, mildews etc. Some folk use decking oil, which usually contains antifunguscides etc. Personally I don't like using they chemicals, and not overly keen on the colour of alot of them

  16. The 346 I rebuilt with the snapped cylinder bolt. Just snapped another. Anyone experience this? I am hoping it's just that the cylinder has come loose, rattled about and someone has cranked them right up, causing them the snap. Have bought 4 new bolts, so they should be good. Just wondering if anything else could have caused this?
  17. Unsurprising you were correct. Sticky/bend metering arm. Changed it for another one I had, adjusted height. Working well now.
  18. Looks bad, don't reckon it was as heavy as it looks. Had just shy of 2'' off the bump stops.
  19. How does the flywheel look? Is it somehow mashed where it connects with the starter pawls?
  20. I like calling them toppers.
  21. 360 is great so far......saying that since i got a 2511 no other toppers are getting a look in 360 doesn't scream like 200 does but seems to cut well and has been reliable. On a big dismantle I'll probably pick up the 200, but would also be quite happy with the 360 if it's all i had....if I lost them both and had to replace the 360 would probably get bought as I got it for alot less new than a new 201
