  1. 44. Something mm for you then https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F392121491725 Or measure it after you have pulled the cylinder I case someone has changed side covers somewhere down the line.
  2. Silver side cover 50cc is big Orange side cover 46cc is small
  3. Whip the pot off and have a look, very extremely good high chance itll clean up, hone the cylinder, i use 100grit dand paper to start and work up a few grades. You'll get read of the Ali transfer. Then get yourself a meteor piston kit from the Ebay Greek fella. Pop that on ( probs watch a vid or two on youtoob). You may need a new gasket on base of cylinder. Might be ok though. Now, before you get any further, vac and pressure the saw ( youtoob again) sorting out the inevitable airleak. As there will have a been a cause to the seizure ( fuel, lean h jet, or airleak). This must be addressed or youll be doing this again in a day or two
  4. Here it is on a 357xp. And yes Khriss and spud I know the saw could do with a clean. And yes it's my finger
  5. Ms200 has carb issues and the 361 has faulty ignition coil, but this is hard to diagnose as behaves like faulty carb
  6. Tattered old makita box, other saw is a ms200? Its like a guess the weight competition
  7. You wont really be able to tell what its up by looking at it ( thinknits under carb somewhere, potentially under a plastic plate that fuel line go through, though this may be only on other husqvarnas) You can check if it's working, by running the saw until it cuts out as you described. Then opening the fuel cap. Is there a suction noise? Does the saw start again and run ok for a few minutes? If yes, then replace the tank vent
  8. No no, they ought to be on my one I'm sure
  9. I am truly sorry. That is a serious issue
  10. Out of the 2 you mention I'd go for sweet chestnut. As Jonathan says it'll stain unless you oil it ( I'd suggest tung oil x10 coats)
  11. Yep that's the outer I believe.
  12. Looks like it from the pics. Think that's the inner one? Is it going spare?
  13. Cheers matty, had seen these, adds up to 50bucks with the import charges and then have to get fixings as well....cheapest option so far though. Will try Stephen in the morning
  14. It's in the post so not celebrating quite yet.
  15. Shit happens, but you know, I've has worse accidents
  16. Think I just accidentally bought a 3120. It doesnt have dawgs. Obviously it'll only make me feel half as macho if it doesnt have massive oversized bark shredding dawgs. But my manlihood cannot persuade my brain to spend nearly 50quid on some OEM husky ones ( only seen online / random spares etc). 1. Has someone got a spare set they want shot of? ( unlikely) 2. Does anyone know of a cheaper place to purchase? (Unlikely) 3. Can 372 spikes be modified to fit? ( highly doubtful) as these are 2 a penny. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F292975546322 Thanks y'all
  17. Hour or so on the chisels today just pulling some detail out of face - quite a lot more of that to do
  18. Done it in a pretty bitty way. Probs 2 days, if that, carving in those pics. Always a bit slower carving a form you've never done and have only done 1 or 2 quick sketches of. Lots of walking away, looking at it over a brew. Also working from the yard- many distracting important tasks. Like waxoyling the chipper.
  19. First time I have used it. When you get used to the heavy girder above you they are pretty handy. Did feel like if a bolt or two come out I'll be pretty wonky with that on top of me. So far so good though.
  20. Nicely done. Must have taken a good while. Great finish
  21. Try taking the fuel cap off after it has cut out. If it sucks a bit, or behaves happily for a short while when you do this it may be a tank breather issue. Is compression good?
