  1. Paul Stamets, what a speaker! #treesincrisis
  2. Got one, had two, love it :-)
  3. We can help, PM me if required.
  4. Stopping in a Travel Inn on the M40 tonight but see you all in the Morning!
  5. There is two problems going on I believe, I have seen the same as Simon but mostly up here it is frost damage.
  6. Gees what have I started lol, I know he is professional, runs a good firm, is on here, and is near you. Hence the suggestion. I would be offering to do free work, brash dragging, log splitting at weekends, whatever. Show him your keen, can work hard and have initiative. Who knows where it may lead.

    Theft!!

We are in Wrexham and will keep our eyes open!
  10. Sounds like it's not a priority for the 'manager'. Call up and ask for the finance department?
  11. What Andy said! YOU were told by the LPA in the first instance that you needed to apply for a change of use. He gave you some advice to buy you some time. YOU ignored his advice because he forgot to send you the forms. Result - brown stuff hits the fan, did you just think it would all go away? Apply for permission, you never know, you might get it with some conditions!
  12. Tom D is spot on, you'll shoot yourself in the foot if you try and CCJ them. You may win judgement but that does not mean they will ever pay you!
  13. So who is going then? I am.
  14. You'll need a reversing gearbox to run anything other than Merc specific implements, try Atkinson Vos or AC Price
  15. mwhahahahaha
  16. Aye, grinder here as well...
  17. 'clap'
  18. Got some today from FR Jones as it happens and wasn't to impressed with that Velcro, will try them on Tuesday and see how I go!
  19. My son was a month old on that day, I saw the news break at the school I was working at and promptly went home to hold my son. Whatever your views on the why's or wherefore's, 3'000 people is incomprehensible. I will just keep my thoughts to myself on Sunday.
  20. Small capacity road tow chipper, Timberwolf 18/100 or similar, would prefer hydraulic in feed but gravity fed would suffice. The boss is looking for a cheap machine for our new contracting team. 2.5k budget, just missed the wee Gravely on eBay :-( Ta.
  21. With pictures, I can't believe how many people put up adverts with no pictures!
  22. Probably then that issue could best be managed by the operator. If its you operating it and you don't do something stupid then you should be ok. Infeed operation is hydraulic after all, you can only over stress the chipper if you try and over feed the chipper?
  23. Surely the stress control would manage that issue? usually the HP requirement on a chipper is just that, a minimum requirement rather than a maximum. I could be being thick mind!
  24. None of them make gaining contracts easier, they just help you wade through procedure by having set processes in place. Very useful at pre-tender / pqq stage.
