  1. If that happens no one will buy German goods as they won't be able to afford it. Germany will work exceedingly hard to keep the Eurozone viable IMO.
  2. 40% of UK export is to the Eurozone, a collapse would be an un-mitigated disaster. Personally I think they will shore it up but at the cost of a pre-longed double dip recession.
  3. Yes, and being here in North Wales it's 30 miles to the shops! Peter - predictive text!
  4. Thank you for taking the time to post this Ben. 50kms is easily breached. I currently use a vehicle hours log in the land rover with a Ifor williams trailer. Looks like a tachometer is on the cards then!
  5. 90-110 a day and they are providing saw fuel and own transport? so about 70.00 a day then lol
  6. Depends entirely on where you are, I pay 80.00 and a mileage allowance.
  7. Way over priced IMO... 12-17k max
  8. Photoshare, IOS5 using the cloud and it will do it automatically when connected to wifi.
  9. I had allocated 174 a day so that's all good then lol
  10. A client needs some wood chip for a menage, just a top up, mine is all earmarked for a project. Can anyone help?
  11. On reasonable ground, how many whips / bare root transplants could 1 man plant in a day with tubes, stakes and ties. Ta.
  12. Try Matthew O'Brien @ Highland Forestry.
  13. Self employed = do what you want / abide by clients regulations. Employees = abide by employeers rules and watch out for colleagues. Employer = duty of care to employees, enforceable in law if it went tits up. If you think its safer to wear Scarpas in the rain and your employees agree then do a risk assessment and a tool box talk and crack on.
  14. Great pieces of equipment if the data is read correctly. Tend to be used more to investigate extents rather than a tool to condemn.
  15. Ahh, great stuff, cheers mate.
  16. Hi guys, we are after a roof rack for our 110 double cab, preferably a full one going back over the tilt and secured with two rear ladders. Does anyone have any info regarding pitfalls of certain brands? I like the Patriot ones but they are very expensive, Brownchurch do one but it looks very heavy. Ta.
  17. OMG that's awful, what a character, wasn't watching this morning. I hope Colin Edwards is ok.
  18. I'll vouch for Jim, he's a great guy.
  19. Love it round there, will go take a look!
  20. Why not stick it in a pile and sell it to the biomass boys? 40 yard skips are expensive!
  21. PM Big Fell! He'll know...
  22. Looks like a road head to me Dave, I reckon they'll be building some house around there.
  23. John, I think there is a bit of everything going on here, compaction due to close mown grass, the repeated edging, the cut root, drought stress. Potentially also Kabatina shoot blight caused by a fungi, good news in that it may become obscured by new growth in the spring. Aphid damage - I don't think so as its only popped up in the last few weeks, aphids are usually summer and spring. Winter damage doesn't fit and neither does a scale problem. With all this it's impossible to say without a site visit. Whereabouts are you?
  24. I second that, or try James Tonks on 01543 480509, he's just outside Lichfield but it's not far.
