  1. Domainmonster are pretty good, don't use thier back order domain service though.
  2. It's your life but imo do yourself a favour and try your diet before you let them start doing possible irriversible damage. As said before I don't have a lot of faith in the medical system, for some reason there are a lot of doctors out there who don't believe that ilness can be linked to what you eat.
  3. rear facing are a tight fit in a double cab, you will need the passenger seat pretty far forward, so you won't stand a chance with a king cab.
  4. Or fugly would be better suited in this case Don't like it at all.
  5. My intolerances started when I was in my late 20's but my youngest son was born with exactly the same intolerences.
  6. I think it depends a lot on how much you want to lift. There was one on here a while ago for sale, which was similar to this I have looked into it but the local crane firm won't fit one the size I need due to stability issues
  7. I was diagnosed with IBS by a doctor many years ago, then after ending up weighing just under 8 stone I was lucky enough to meet my girlfriend who has a vast knowledge of food allergy and intollerence. Long story short, after months of a very strict diet (living on rice cakes for the first few weeks) then slowly adding stuff back, we worked out I have a gluten and dairy intolerance. I am now somewhat sceptical of doctors who spend very little time in thier training studying diet, and personally feel that some tend to use IBS as a blanket term for "we haven't really got a clue" Probably something to do with the way food has been modified, but there are more and more people with gluten, oats and dairy allergies now days, and it might be something you want to look into. I dread to think where I would be now had we not found out what it was, but now have very little trouble unless I accidently eat something with it in, which is very rare.
  8. Yes this one was done with a pipe cutter, I had welded the bolts up on it after one went around the corner a while back and that one was unbolted, anoyingly I heard something during the night and never thought anything of it as it was windy and just thought it was something getting blown around outside. Time for some huge security upgrades around the place next week, yet more expence just to earn a living. I had thought about welding some strips down the new pipe although apparently they arent so interested in the pattern part ones as they contain far less platinum than genuine ones, but how true that is I don't know. The nomadic camp has already been visited.
  9. For the 2nd time in less than 3 months I have more stuff stolen, this time is was the cat from my ford ranger, taken from the front of my house in Alresford Essex last night. Apparently there has been loads stolen in the area recently and mainly from 4x4 trucks, so I don't now how but try do what you can to protect your trucks.
  10. Can you hear the music over the popping roof ?
  11. It's all well and good saying put a bit aside, but having been there if you just haven't got anything coming in and it's sitting there put aside to pay the tax man at a later date what are you going to do, pretty obvious to me. I really feel for you, it's not nice having to sell kit to keep going.
  12. So it's just me who finds him unbeleavably boring then ?
  13. Age would help, if there are any 300tdi's I will be interested but I doubt it with that mileage
  14. I know the electrics are lucas, the only problem is they are lucas india so are expensive. Or they were on the one I know of that had a new starter motor on it.
  15. I recently bought a new tt3017 to replace my stolen tt85. I will not be buying another Ifor after this one, I have owned Ifors virtually since they came out and without a doubt this one is the worst trailer I have ever owned. The build quality is flimsy, there are no bed rests until 600mm from the front of the chassis, which is just stupidly tight of ifors(I have a set on order so that I can put them up the front to support the whole body), the wheels hit the mudgaurds before the bump stops, the side pins that the dropsides hinge from are so short that if you are on a slight slope the sides try comming off, the floor is now part of the tipper chassis so that will be fun if it gets damaged or worn, the lip between the chassis section of the floor and the aluminium centre section of the floor sits above the rest of the floor (pain in the backside when shoveling stuff off), the top/bottom hinged tailgate is useless because it hits the floor when tipping hinged from the bottom pins, so you still have to use it hinged from the top, only now you have a flimsy handle that locks the tailgate from one point. All in all I am completely unimpressed with the trailer as a whole and wish I had bought a second hand earlier version, we do a lot of pallet work and the bed blocks (or lack of) at the front of the bed I can see will end up with a bent bed, also the lip between the steel and ali bed will get damaged by pallets. I doubt and will be amazed if this one will last anywhere near as long as my old ifor's, in fact I see it being sold as it is also one of the nastiest trailers I have towed stability wise as it gets very twitchy. To say I am dissapointed is a bit of an understatement, and will be looking at the many other makes that are now out there, the brian james trailers look rather nice. Oh there is one good bit with the new design, the flat floor edge is really nice.
  16. Our cocker is called "Willow" She's a stunning dog.
  17. Sad to hear about yet another theft Does it matter a crap who or where it's gone ? What matters is yet another person has lost thier livelyhood and hopefully they can financially withstand the period of time it takes to replace the kit Jonathan probably has a good idea, if enough people were to sign a petitition then hopefully someone might sit up a think, I will PM you later Jonathan to discuss it. It now sadly is just becoming too common a thing and it's not a case of if but when your kit is stolen, I have had to put heaps of log around my rear boundry fence after someone tried to steal my new trailer a week after I had bought it to replace the one that was stolen, luckily we think they were disturbed by the security lights, my yard is starting to look like fort knox, just so that I can make a living. The police really don't give a crap as far as I can see, and someone high up needs a bloody good kick up the arse, all the insurance claims are only going to have a knock on effect to us anyway with increased premiums. If trackers are being considered, from what I have found out VHF one's are the way to go as GPS can be easily blocked.
  18. Internet relay chat IRC It rarely has problems
  19. With the site being a bit tempremental wouldn't it be better to have the site chat room using IRC ?, it would be far more reliable and would ease the load on the site. It would also give people a place to go if the site goes down.
  20. I looked at getting one, but the parts availability issue is what put me off. Apparently if you get the ones the utility companies used they were set up differently and are much better trucks, but they are like hens teeth. Nice looking trucks though
  21. I have a murex 240 tradesmig single phase that I bought secondhand ages ago, still love it, for me it has a quality to it that the others just don't match up to. I would far rather go for a second hand decent make than a cheap new one.
  22. Having been involved in a murder inquiry many years ago in which all lorries of a certain colour and type were investigated as to what they had done and where they had gone on a certain day, I can assure you that if someone got killed in an accident they can do far more with tacho analysis than you would imagine, especially when linked with other information.
  23. The one in that video is the electric one and it's nearly £6.5K + vat A bit excesive for what it is imo.
