  1. Just changed the amount of loaded posts to 30, it didn't do it then, so changed it back to 20 and its cured it. Thanks.
  2. Probably a month or two ago, it's not a big issue, just mildly annoying. I was kind of hoping it was some setting or other I'd got stupidly wrong.
  3. Not good news mate! Quick question, you state the truck is green but I see a yellow one? Has it been painted recently?
  4. I'm using an iPhone 4S with tapatalk (the spelling check in that does not know the word tapatalk ) all updated to latest version etc. When I load unread posts, and scroll to the bottom of that list I have to "scroll-bump" the bottom to get the next 20 unread posts. It does not load the next load however, it loads the first 20 again. Then when I get to the bottom of that and repeat the procedure I do get unread threads 21 to 40 but still with 1 to 20 twice above it? Any clues? Cheers Daniel.
  5. Cheers mr Huck (or juck as Steve called you in that list)
  6. Well..... This guy I know..... Ahem, "a friend" did that once, Or twice..... The first time, the cork got stuck and shot out, tipping over the kettle but no more damage done. The second time, the kettle popped its seems along the bottom edge... Just from what "my friend" told me......
  7. Great pics! I like seeing guys like that work, makes me believe I'm lean...
  8. The cork is just there to be able to carry water in it when cold. If you leave the cork in when boiling water, the steam will heat and expand the cork, it will get stuck ( even if it is in very loose ) and will come out with a pop if you're lucky. If you're not that lucky the kettle will pop, boiling water/steam explosion, lots of scope for pain.... Don't ask me how I know this.....
  9. I'm really proud to be part of this kind of event, and thoroughly amazed by the generosity of all those that donated prizes. In awe of those that devoted so much time and effort to make it all work. And we'll chuffed to have won stuff! So, do the lucky winners pm their details to the donators, or do we wait for them to contact us or how does it work?
  10. I know someone just west of Norwich that can have a look for you, I'll ask if he's got time and get back to you.
  11. I count a few more there:001_tongue: Whereabouts in norfolk are you Wytco, I frequent certain parts of the county...
  12. Alder be good for firewood from wet.
  13. Never (well, very rarely) go out without mine. Always accompanied by my trusty Denby teapot, one has to have ones tea in style after all...
  14. My little paulownia in its winter plumage....
  15. Ho, I'm not in the south west, I don't sell wood either but I've always wondered: when people demand "no time wasters" do you expect the sort of people that you class as time wasters to have the same view of themselves as you view them?
  16. From this tree?
  17. Theres one in front of my parents' house, the canopy starts at 2ft up. I always thought it was just the lack of competition as its on its own and no browsing or grazing animals near it?
  18. I'd clean thoroughly, then use a self tapping (short) screw with some fuel-safe silicone. It's subjected to intense and sustained vibrations as well as petrochemicals, so I'd go for the combination of mechanical fix with silicone seal.
  19. I use rapeseed oil. It's locally grown and pressed, clean and food-safe (I lick up any spills), biodegradable, I've used it in -15 with no waxing and cheap (same price as diesel...) It's been fine without any problems when used exclusively. The only issues I've had is when I topped up a saw that was half full of stihl mineral stuff, it turned into chewing gum. So when I "convert" a saw, I run it empty, run some petrol through it and then fill with veg.
  20. Try here, it's the home of the boomknuffelaar. http://www.treehugs.nl/forum/
  21. And...?
  22. The hole as pointed out in the picture? If so, it's supposed to have a little plug thingie in it.
  23. Did you blow out the little plug thingie?
  24. Car was parked, as too close to verge to have been driving. Trailer came off towing vehicle as jockey wheel still up. Coupling on trailer looks undamaged (and is fairly indestructible on iw's) so operator error or catastrophic towball failure, my money's on the previous.
