  1. Working Christmas trees at the moment on the Black Isle, near Inverness. Can pm you the details of the company, but will need more details of what he wants, they've got all Nordman's but need to know quality, quantity and size really.
  2. Put it on at that height and make a rack/basket on top for things like wheelbarrow etc.
  3. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you!
  4. Front end shunt is per definition driver error regardless of who's in front? Good luck with your new wheels anyway, any pics?
  5. Seems a little ignorant and populist to me. Yes, our glorious leaders could have banned the import of ash, but it seems unlikely that would have halted it for long if at all. It's not very likely that all the uk cases sprang from the first reported case in imported material seeing the spread of diseased trees. The spores are wind born, they would have got here in the end, it's the reaction and consequent measures that are being put in place that they could have come up with a couple of years ago. Only my opinion though...
  6. Not the front garden though, the ****** will have it!
  7. Your friend may be wrong? Send him a message or look on the website http://www.chainsawbars.co.uk
  8. When this is your "view from the office"
  9. Awesome picture that is! Congratulations mate!!
  10. iPhone 5 has the same camera anyway. 4S in a lifeproof case here.
  11. 7x5x1 would be 0.9910896 Cubic Metres.
  12. 5.663369 Cubic Metres, approximately....
  13. Not a great oak crop round here, but there are some, conkers aplenty.
  14. Click the little picture thingy, it gets you to your camera roll. As per picture, then host on forum
  15. I'd be happier with a twin axle than a triple. I found the triple axles are much worse off road (based on experience with livestock trailers where the triple axle sits on wheels about half the size of the twin axle ones)
  16. Just because they can and do drive 50 (or even 60!) km/h does not mean they are allowed by law...
  17. I bought my 550 just before it was "out" in early spring and its been faultless. The only issue I've had is that it got shipped with a faulty air filter but a quick call to Mr jones and the replacement was there the next day. I use mine mainly for hedgelaying so turning it on and off every other minute and have not had any issues with starting, idling or anything.
  18. The kid could be 9 months old by now.....
  19. Jon, I'd like to just say I admire your attitude and really hope it all works out. Cheers, Daniel.
  20. Well, considering the date of the question posted, assuming and hoping all went to plan, the lass in question could be happily climbing trees again, perhaps watched from below by a squirm in a crib.
  21. http://www.log-rover.co.uk/ I think he may be on here....?
  22. Best firewood you can grow in the uk!
  23. My big book of wood reckons the three cedars (Atlas, Deodar and Lebanon) are very similar in their properties.
  24. Excellent response, and the only sensible and correct answer so far! You've obviously got what it takes to go far in this business, as I understand you're planning to set up. When are you planning to steal your first chipper?
