  1. Will do more checks in day light. Once I had undo drain and gurgling happened, ran it up road and seamed OK, but will give it more of a run.
  2. Nothing came out just heard gurgling.
  3. Used tractor this afternoon and just wouldn't pull after a while, limped it home at 20kph with foot flat on floor. Open drain on first filter housing and could hear gurgling. Me thinking lift pump fault, or anyone get another idea. Filter is only a year old.
  4. The best thing is customer is clearing up.
  5. Back on the conifer hedge from hell. Got given a Husqvarna 345 by a customer how has moved to a smaller house and no need for saw, very inpressed with it. Put a old 18" bar on it for a bit more reach. I love the tooless chain tensioner, 100% better then Stihl.
  6. Is pump just running slow or normal speed, There is a valve that makes them drop slow, some people remove it to make body drop quicker. No idea if it's powered, so when tipping it opens. Could just be bad earth.
  7. It's not all about power, it's the construction of the machine you are putting mulching blade on if bearings are not up to it you will soon find out
  8. I have driven a jx95 best thing was when I got off it, gearbox is one of the clonkest I have used.
  9. Everything that had signs of loctite has been.
  10. All nice and shiny to put back.
  11. If that picture relates to accident, there's no cones or signs, if there was machine should be kept in that zone. If operator had the correct training it shouldn't of happened, if he was trained he should be fined as well.
  12. The bearings were easy to get off, it was the key in keyway that didn’t want to play ball. Had to weld lump of steel to it get it out.
  13. So have got it apart do I need to put anything on aluminium fins were they bolt to steel.
  14. I think most ambulances uprated to 4.2t to take all the weight.
  15. Some times that's the only way to get a result, face to face and get to talk to the person you need to.
  16. I've worked on a lot of old machines in the passed, and found bearings stuck on managed to get them off in the end. Have cut them at 12 3 6 9 o'clock not right though a hammered them to brake, welder is another tool I have used to get heat just on bearing.
  17. So 150 has a rumple and today a ticking noise coming from rotor housing, me thinking time to change bearings, when ordering part will I need to replace shafts. And do you need a hydraulic press to put bearings in.
  18. Not all tractors after the 90 are 40kph some are available with 30kph box but not many. You can find the odd 7810 for under £20,000.
  19. If you are on back roads that are narrow 30kph is plenty. And you can pick up a good bargain as no one wants them.
  20. If you got time on you hands, go and look at makes and models at dealers, you will find something you like. I tried Case 5150 and New Holland 8340 big lumps then went to look at early valtra which put me off, then found out later ones were better.
  21. Got a Valtra 6400 2002 never paid that much for it. 12 miles tound trip is not that far if back roads no need for 40kph. Depends on your budget.
  22. The big question is truck as large chipper needs big truck to make it work. I found out when I bought a 9 inch pto chipper and filled truck in 5 minutes. Now on large jobs just sub in large tractor and trailer.
  23. Had a tracked cherry picker delivered by hire company, it was on a isuzu truck I asked is that a 7.5t gross and he replied no 11t. It looked no higher than a 7.5t just a bit longer. Though then would be ideal with big chipper behind if you had work for one.
  24. I did dealings with a company a couple of years ago how are not far from that and would of thought he would of snapped it up as he was running 3 of them and was looking for another.
  25. That's the problem they know we need to get rid of it and pay nothing. I ve aways used local farmer's to take it for all sorts of thing's but never got money for it but never had a problem with to much.
