  1. Just buy standard ifor williams and unscrew it grease it up and fit, job done properly. Just keep wheel in a safe place as they don't last if ran along road.
  2. Could be valve which has toothed belt under it, or lose connection there.
  3. That will add to much weight..
  4. I see what you mean now, I would still use chassis mounts and fabricate new mounts for body to come out to meet.
  5. All you have got to do is move mounts along and down to meet chassis mount, why add extra weight when you don't need to. Will look pro and not a bodge.
  6. Only last week pulled out shrubs with digger and thought I had got to take roots away, Gardener turned up and said he was going to light fire in back garden, guess were roots went, he was a gardener how could light a good fire.
  7. That's about right, but you can just run around large stuff when just logging stems down if twice bar length. Had it just the other day with a silver birch, owner was watching an when I got down to there it was one bar length he said you need bigger saw now, he was amazed I just kept cutting with little saw.
  8. Kumho MT if you can get hold of any, if you can't get there with them then you want with anything else in a road going tyre. As you are doing 5 miles then if it's all forest tracks have you thought of set of old weller wheels with flotation tyres fitted, farmer near me runs old Toyota hilux with them on with slug applicator on.
  9. Hayter use to make a graveyard mower, which was narrow, they pop up on ebay from time to time, never cheap though. Church in my village have a honda
  10. Don't know anything about them but would give it a 500 hour service before working it as I would guess no service history..Hope that's not your only truck as going to fill it in no time.
  11. Not sure what dash cam it is but my brother had one with move detector, so if you rocked or knocked car it would film. Years ago there was a couple of blokes pinching stuff, I cornered them in a cul-de-sac with a truck things got nasty so I backed off, got a message to someone how was trying to catch up with them, truck involved was found burnt out on a industrial site and there was no more crime in the area. Never asked questions if they court up with them.
  12. Camera is probably the best option, but need to hide it well. Or if they know farmer has cctv maybe just a dummy camera will do the trick.
  13. If you are asking that type of question, you own mind is telling you get a MEWP in.
  14. Rain again, I am thinking it would be nice to have a bit of snow just for a change.
  15. That's true, but it's 6m long so with draw bar you will be close or over max length to tow.
  16. Would say something around 50 to 55cc as for make it's your choice. The problem with second hand saws you never know the history, I ve bought quite a few saws second hand but all have been cheap and seized so I know it's a complete rebuild. Buy new and the best you can afford from local dealer.
  17. That's along Mewp to put on a trailer, so would need long trailer.
  18. Makes no sense at all, just go and knock on door gets result I have found.
  19. Kept them clean considering the weather we've had.
  20. Yes that would probably do, had customer put an application to council and they have said need letter from arborist to confirm condition of tree or tree's.. Emails are best to keep a note what ever party involved has said if it does get nasty.
  21. Maybe worth getting the arborist how gave you a quote to write a letter of concern that you can send. Or try and talk to a warden if there's one..
