  1. Windy and wet here, meant to be clearing up Yew I reduced in a church yard yesterday. That's going to have to wait till tomorrow, as just getting over cough virus that's going about.
  2. There has been pictures took of one in Suffolk. Probably a number of them about, if you don't look for them you will not find them,
  3. A mog just to get up steep drive way is a bit OTT as said 4x4 truck or even different make or 2wd truck with low gear reverse. I bought a Toyota land cruiser swb a couple of years ago and reverse is to high to back full trailer up any slope. Drove alot of truck in my time and the best geared was Bedford CF.

    Stokboard

I use 9mm stokbroad in 8x4 sheets, ran 21m boom lift over it and 26m spider no problem. Moving it on site is done with long hooks to save my back. Must of had them 10 years and still going.
  5. Royal mail good in my area. Had 2 parcels earlier this week via DPD were dropped half a mile away, and told left with neighbour, house owner never saw them and were photographed outside gate and were then thrown in garden. App said left with neighbour Maggy at number 1.which was totally wrong. Have emailed them but bet I get no response.
  6. Gave I customer how makes pens a piece of Cotinus just before Christmas. This was the result.
  7. Bespoke Aluminium Boxes | Boxes | N & J Aluminium Linings Ltd WWW.NJALUMINIUMLININGS.COM Discover top quality, hand built aluminium boxes with secure locks, hinges, seals, and gas struts - all... Probably but not cheap.
  8. Matt is the owner, has a lot of contacts he does a bit of work for Crouch working on old trucks.
  9. The reason you don't see many is they rotted well. Remember see a fabricator / welder repairing cab on one, he said was costing more then truck was worth. Think taxing one was a bit of a grey area, most got away with agri or multi use. Last arb one I saw for sale was taxed agri had turboed perkins engine fitted.
  10. So could by valve block for loader, seal going or plumbed up wrong (your tractor runs open centre if it plumb closed centre will make a difference) Would get someone to check flow rate at rear spool to rule out pump.
  11. Are the 3pl arms slow as well,
  12. It's a fashion thing, just watch TV farming like On the farm. Like you say attracts everything, saw dust is a sod to get off.
  13. If you need through put go up to a 8 inch machine, Conifer will block any chipper up if chipper is blunt and revs drop a little, slack drive belts will cause it as well. Demo all machines and then choose.
  14. Page not found WWW.MAXA-GROUP.COM Were are you based. Search page and will find numbers.
  15. If it’s bad it's out of action so just strip it down and get numbers of bearings. If still towable run it to trailer supplier and they should be able to say which bearings by looking at it.
  16. A lot near me on Essex Suffolk border but never see them until week before Christmas or week after depending on weather. Neighbor go's on shoot in Wales and they bag 12 to 16 on top of pheasants..
  17. My insurance is do in January, last couple of days broker is asking a lot of questions about working at heights, and where abouts. Never had this before are any of you getting the same.
  18. Coppiceing some over size hazel in a garden last one had some back leaners so rather than turn truck around snatch block setup. You do what you have to when no one to pull on rope,
  19. Is that a 21v one that runs 18v Makita.
  20. Got asked the same a year ago. When I gave them a quote, they said that was to dear, and I said if you had got them ground out there would of been no cost as would have just been left on site. They think as we are tree surgeon we can just make them vanish.
  21. Saw this at lunch time. It turned up with larger pallet of turf on front of trailer and took it off with forklift and left rear one were it was, thought they would of put it in middle but no just strapped it on and drove off, back wheel had got little weight on
  22. I built a power pack a few years ago to run log splitters, it has a 60litre tank and runs 15/30 suto. I was worried oil getting hot so I fitted a cheap hot water pipe thermostat and cable tied it to ram to keep an eye on it runs at around 40-50 deg c depends how hot day is.
  23. From memory I think 10litre will do around 250 trees if you are spraying a metre square with a medium flow nozzle.
  24. NO SPRAY GUARD NEEDED AS IN TUBES. 1 metre square is best. On all the spraying I did years ago would just band spray rows and then it would be mowed between rows.
  25. Will not take long if square plot, I use to do a area of trees 25m wide and 750m long, landed up doing it in section then move truck down with suppliers. I always only ever filled knap sack with 10 litres kinder on back if ground is uneven..
