  1. UK Mini Trucks | Customised Daihatsu Hijets UKMINITRUCKS.CO.UK Customised Daihatsu Hijet Mini Trucks for UK farmers, gamekeepers, and businesses... Maybe worth asking this lot and see what they can do. Farmer near me has bought one for his son.
  2. Is it to replace post. Just cut with disc cutter twice.
  3. If you watch YouTube video on Kebtec pruners do by that Australian look bloke, he shows what they have fitted to stop chopping pinky off. But you have to set it every time.
  4. Anyone tried Kebtec brand, they look good on video.
  5. Just above joint and a slope cut, good work should shot from joint.
  6. Thanks,
  7. Think leaves are wrong shape, and not fluffy.
  8. Any idea, and it's in UK.

    Ladders

I looked at Hailo, but that bottom bar looked a pain. That's why I went for Altrex one to replace old titan combi.

    Ladders

I use a Altrex combi ladder and a Werner ajustable steps do all hedges from 3ft to 20ft high.
  11. Run a CS362 great saw, bought it when i had trouble with Stihl MS 200T never use 200T much now. When my old boss helped me on job a couple of years ago said I was crawl to it when I double cut a large Horse chestnut limb.
  12. Is it getting hot? Could be censor faulty.
  13. Bought a good set years ago, while working on old land rover, payed for its self time and time again.
  14. The type of work you are thinking of doing are you going to buy right machine. Would of thought not big enough to make life that easy or be productive enough. Ground clearance is what you need to look at, I know from using my Tobroco giant in woodland with odd high stump left and not seeing one until to late and sitting on top of it.
  15. Fitted Loncin engine to my stump grinder after Honda started breathing oil heavy. Straight fit apart from safety switch wiring but got it sorted in the end. just need to check shaft size when ordering metric or imperial.
  16. Take a look at Tobroco giant skid. You need to consider lift hieght you need, and as said mulcher needs a good flow rate.
  17. See Lego is doing its bit to be carbon neutral by putting more trees in display.
  18. When I first work for someone no chipper, we would stack brash on back of truck and rope it down, then put lengths of wood as poles to take more and tie the next lot down and then top it off and finally tie it down. No tipper so you just pulled on ropes to unload it.
  19. 150 diesel as they run Kubota, early 125 ran Kohler 23hp then switched to Honda they bought engines in bulk and what is cheapest at the time. Refurbished can mean anything, lick of paint covers up rust, If you can push to £10k you should get something.
  20. If you can find a TW 150 that's been looked after would be my choice, but if need machine to move around easy would go for 125 but needs to have braked chassis, not fun being dragged down a slope by one. Everything is so easy to maintain and blade change is quick. The major question is how much tree work do you do and how much are you going to do in years to come, then buy best and biggest you can.
  21. Years ago I took a big Eucalyptus down disced trunk in 9inch thick piece and then had to quarter them to lift them into wheel barrow. After about a year sitting in a pile, borrow a 90hp tractor and Hycrak splitter, stooled tractor no end of times. And had easy bits with a cut with saw.
  22. Lot of people don't like it as takes long time to dry out.
  23. Any idea if it would need marking battery storage,
  24. That's just to turn up on the day and do job, then plus this and that,
  25. Park pruner was the make stanton hope did. As above HBM are the same. You can replace threads but take some getting apart of old, we have just cut end out in the passed.
