  1. That is exactly what I am on about, and then when needed another truck with tipper trailer can be used to clear timber or chips away as well.
  2. Need truck to put woodchip in, so wouldn't work.
  3. My loader is a Tobroco 204 weight is 1530kg so got 1170kg left using ifor williams 3500kg. So using a sub 750kg chipper still under weight. Would sit chipper at front of trailer with loader behind, most of the time would use chipper sitting on trailer. It's the length of chipper so it will sit across trailer.
  4. Seen a couple of 130 at around £4000.old model. Aren't all greenmech bolted together, eg tow A frame and axles, so was just going to unbolt and mount on frame, so could be put back to what is was. Thinking Quadchip maybe to heavy.
  5. Been looking at pictures of quadchip, and trying to work out if it would work. Can't find out how wide and long it is, and like the fold down spout. Also been looking at 130.
  6. Yes he did, and I mist a 125 not far from me a month ago. But something will turn up.
  7. I have a 150HDB which I use and running a tape over that it's 2m from front of engine to hopper folded up, would have to relocate battery. But I think it's to heavy to lift with loader, that's why I was thinking 125.
  8. You on about as a tracked unit, if so with loader to heavy. But as turned into skid unit may work if loader would lift it.
  9. No would be totally independent so I can move brash to chipper and blow into truck.
  10. So been thinking of doing this for a while, and over Christmas break done a bit more. I am thinking of making a chipper as a Skid unit that can be moved by small loader, the main reason is so I can move chipper and loader to site with one vehicle and trailer. Has anyone else do this or seen something. Chipper would have to be something like the size of a Timberwolf 125.
  11. Watch out,, in-laws will get invite more.
  12. All plant machinery manufacturers could make it harder with in built tracker in wiring system.
  13. Got to hide them well, so it will take them to long to remove before taking it.
  14. Sorry to hear, ever year this time of year someone gets hit hard. Been quite e few bits of plant, trucks and trailers in my area gone over night. Police had a result the other day on a industrial estate found £240k of stuff. Someone said it was one live tracker that found them.
  15. Second picture shows your problem, I would say lower piston ring is stuck. Exhaust port looks a bit carbed up.
  16. That's how they had grown on limb of pine I cleared up earlier in the year.
  17. Had similar problem with a big husky brush cutter, you have doneexactly the same thing I did. Anyway turned out to be stuck piston ring, but it felt like good comprestion when you pulled it. Probably worth popping cylinder off and having a look.
  18. Thanks for the idea. Got a couple more cones.
  19. Had that on a main A road at night and bloke driving car had the nerve to try and tell TM lad there was something wrong with his light as they were on red both ends. Nice to use old kit to prove it can still do the job.
  20. Just keep nibbling at it you will get there in the end. Bore cut it at base and in a couple of other places you will know if worth milling. Kids have lost swing, could turn it into climbing thing
  21. Is it your tree or a job, would of thought not worth milling. I felled a beech yesterday 30 inches across base and 14 ft long, bloke that buys some butt's off me said no.
  22. Battery impact wrenchs have improved in the last 5 years, not many if any fitters use air tools.
  23. Have used both 12m and 14m ones and they are faster then Hinowa, mutable levers can be used which can't on some of the Hinowa's. The problem is they are narrow and have a habit of laying on their side.
  24. You could make them slide in and out to keep winch narrow.
  25. You may also consider if it needs to be a stubby style one.
