  1. Been doing a bit of first thinning in woodland and most of it that size, so add it a little easy once I subtracted that khee high stump off.
  2. Yes that's exactly what it is, all the winches in a box I looked at were plastic, and though they wouldn't last long. Also alot cheaper. Use it to pull stump grinder up ramps on to truck. Power is via Anderson plug,
  3. To get this out after getting stuck late yesterday. No access for anything big so used winch box, great bit of kit.
  4. The man how thinks battery power is great, someone got it wrong.
  5. It's flywheel belts that need to be tight as well as hydraulic pump one. If you bought it from dealer I would ask them for advice if they know anything about it.
  6. Two legs, very energetic, left unattended can cause damage. CHILD...
  7. Are belts tight, Timberwolf chippers will all work in reverse if flywheel is a little slow plus if engine is on tick over.
  8. If you are back near Sudbury get Shaun up north street to look at them.
  9. Pulling on gravel drive is a waist of time, like trying to stand on marbles. Have never anchored truck to tree but always chock front wheels, got a couple of bits of big gate post I use, but have just used lumps of wood laying around. A couple of months ago forgot lump of wood and couldn't find anything big enough on site but had digger on site with a couple of spare buckets so used them upside down, worked a treat but needed digger to pull them out after truck had pushed them into ground.
  10. I run a Husky 362 which has be a bit modified, got a 372xp piston and pot, 9 toothed drive sprocket .325 bar and chain at 24 inch. Is one hell of a saw for ringing up timber.
  11. Just put it on here costs nothing. What have you got to loose.
  12. Had a problem with my 150 like that was the plug underneath hopper had worked it's way apart, maybe worth checking all plugs, and spray a bit of WD40 in them, or any other make. When you say solenoid are you on about switchs on hopper. Or hydraulic solenoid.
  13. You need to make it clear to them we're your boundaries stop, to prove you don't own trees.
  14. Is this tree still standing?, stump shown is a conifer so it's dead as others have said.
  15. How do size compare to other makes.
  16. If all the above has been done, why would he want to do it again, but I have known dealer to say it's been serviced and not had a spanner put near it.
  17. If it’s been changed twice with little use it's probably not that. Tracking it about must make something move, check all jubilee clips would be my first check.
  18. It's the rattle from hammer action you need.
  19. Yes but road is that bad, must of been a hold up on A12 the other day when I was there and while having short lunch break 30 minutes 40 cars.
  20. I ve undone the ones on my 150 since I bought an impact wrench, you haven't got to jam flywheel to remove them. But you need to clean them out well.
  21. Roadside is not that easy as narrow road and it's a rat run for A12 traffic. Could move it off site and deliver with tractor via their horse paddock.
  22. Yes mate, only problem is it's got to be moved in summer and I know he gets busy.
  23. So near Colchester, Hornbeam, Lime, Sweet Chestnut, Beech basically mixed hardwood. Forestry commission is allowing 100 cubic meters.
  24. Got a thinning job with alot of wood coming out in the next couple of years, is it worth put it on Woodnet, been looking and alot of adds are old. Anyone find it good.
