  1. Mid size geny run drill, grinder, saw anything lot more money but more use maybe.
  2. Any thing like you mention will make life easy. But there are some points to look at: it will not work for every job Moving it to jobs tires up truck and trailer.
  3. 2 years ago I was going to buy a boxer loader and did not in the end the reason is, after talking to customers with large gardens I do work for they said they would not want tracked machine in garden or anything that was skid steer and yes you can put ply down but it more work before you start. Land up buying a Giant 204 on turf tyres no ply just get on with job.
  4. About 12 years ago bought a 12volt one you clip on truck battery it ex electric board big ally case and slow lots of torque a wrist breaker. But more recent use a Bosch 18volt for bridge construction and gate hanging on oak posts I do use a very kind drill bit which has a very open flight on it.

  6. Very interesting been back to job and no sign of any thing different to normal. Antihistamine are working and it has not spread any further. Only thing there was in hedge was duke of argylls tea plant which I have worked near before and been OK.
  7. When I saw doctor at walk in center did ask about A&E but said no point just take antihistamine tablets and keep rash soft with cream.
  8. Working on Monday topping a Hawthorn and Bullace hedge went to grab hold of a piece and got bitten or a thorn in finger. Through out the day it got stiffer and by the time I had my tea could not move it and felt like a pin was being pushed up the finger, and when I woke up the next morning had a bad rash on arm near elbow and chest ( as pictures ) so went off to walk in centre they hd got no idea a part from allergic reaction from what ever it was anyone had the same or know of someone how has.   17. No fence being put up so nothing to clip it to, was thinking of line wire top and bottom and middle.
  18. Been asked about putting up wind break netting ( the green fine mesh ) to protect new hedge which is going to be planted. Has anyone got pictures of how best to keep it tight and how to tension it.
  19. Was cutting hedges Wednesday and someone was cutting next door as well. I cut hedges back to wear they were cut before, the other bloke was just trickling conifer hedges and not making that good a job. He may land up paying for it in the long run.
  20. If the woodland tracks have tree roots on the surface or just under it will not matter what tyres you have on your truck once you get on a root you will just sit there, had it happen on dry ground as well.

  24. Have never had a problem with parcel force driver that delivers to me if no one in to sign he will go to farm near by and get someone to sign for. Al the other companies can not be assed to do that .
