  1. Wind has got up here and blowing snow about. Not bothered as hedge cutting on tractor tomorrow will take a lot of snow to stop.
  2. Are you sure the start is not staying engaged with fly wheel turning it in to an alternator, this happened to a tractor I use when being used on a local farm being driven by student burnt the whole wiring loom in the end.
  3. Just Richards driver training in Brightingsea is very good bit of a treck for you.
  4. Have used chain swipe, flail and rotary blade mower. Chain swipe it will go through any thing with out a problem hit a butler sink with a Worlsey jungle buster years ago smashed the sink to pieces. Flail have limited reach out the back of tractor and a lot of money. Pictures show a field I cleared last year which was re-growth 4 years old Brambles, Goat willow, Silver birch, Blackthorn all trees were 4inch dia Machine used was a Mcconnel Rhino 6 on a Fendt 304 which was backed over everything .

  6. Farmer near me had quad trailer and mower took from locked container in locked barn, and CCTV . entered and exited via back fields and even cut hole in hedge and 3 fences to get access. If they want it they will get it.
  7. If you take a vehicle for MOT and it has a major fault you need your ass kick for presenting it for MOT.
  8. Thought that was the case with major faults at the moment as I had a fail on landy 2 years ago and was told to drive home only and get it repaired.

  10. 1987 Husky 61 cost £300 then, cracking saw and still use it sometimes for a bit of logging.
  11. First 2 pictures lime tree in Nayland. Picture 3 is Sycamore which is just in Lt Horkseley so probably the tree you think it is, you will know next time you drive that way.

  16. I did and earthed alternator straight to battery with jump lead. All sorted if they get back to me if not will be ringing them back.
  17. Thanks to everyone for there help. Turns out that supplier has had problems with them and there supplier has flagged up a recalled on them so may get a exchange or money back.
  18. Just go round and knock on door automatically jogs there memory they have not pay.
  19. Warning light works, pulley is same as old, makes no differences how many rev's, and no change with sensor wire off. Which is pointing to duff new alternator.
  20. To modern tractor is 1978.
  21. Think its 54022336E . Picture shows back of alternator orange wire connects to sensor wire.
  22. No all in alternator.
  23. Bypass by connecting sensor wire to battery? if yes I have done this with no joy.
  24. Had a problem with Ford 7600 charging, volt metre would only read 12.2 volts so fitted new alternator with no change. Checked all wiring and not found any problems. This tractor has an alternator with battery sencor wire. It's driving me mad.
