  1. Compact tractor will pull more then quad. If you land up winching them out leave a high trunk at top of slope so you can mount a pulley up it to stop butt end digging in.
  2. If its a big take down job with narrow gateway just lift post out to wide gateway and put back when finished or just hit it on the way in job done. O and add it in to price of job when quoting.
  3. There's a farmer near me got a case 866 2wd had it from New was his biggest tractor when he bought it he up sized to a bigger plough tractor but still kept it. Now runs a big Fendt [400hp] but has still got case as run around at harvest and in stable yard have got no idea what hours its do but must be high.
  4. Can you not drag everything back up hedge line once all felled as you say it 14ft wide.

  6. Got to build some habitat piles on a site which has brash and roots on site. So do I pile a mix of both or separate piles of each.

  10. When I worked for someone we cut 4 inch and split small for a couple of customers with small open fires took bloody ages to get a load cut.

  12. Having done some looking at small loaders 2 years ago and talked to a lot of people they are the same as Opico skidster small machine but wide for there size, you can get an avant narrower than them and lift a lot more.
  13. When I spoke to Chris at Boxer uk last year he was very helpfull despite what some others have said best to give them a ring but I was told they had a list of people wanting them.
  14. You are probably right about the state of the pound. If you do a lot of big take down jobs and site work makes cents to have a machine to make life easy none of us getting younger.
  15. They have gone up in price in a year was offered a S750TX for £:17500+vat and a s800TX was £20,200+vat

  18. Remember reading something about vibration from them was one thing.

  20. Just looked at price of them what the ..... I have a head torch I bought 8 years ago cost £20 about.
