  1. You book the day with customer to do work turn up and the window cleaner, plumber or every tom dick and Harry are there as well and there's no were to park.
  2. Best bet would be stump grinder, but if you have time on you side clean it up best you can even jet wash it then hatch a Chris cross pattern in it 2/3 inch squares and pull bits off with digger with ditching bucket.
  3. Or a couple of them concrete look a like logs.
  4. Even more if they come out yo see how things are going drinking 1 then not offering you one.
  5. The Ifor 10x5 tipper is 3500kg gross unladen is 880kg so not that light, with what you can tow with your van no way you could put 1.5t digger on it. Your problem is truck.
  6. Nice pictures should be in overload thread.
  7. You should be able to reduce size by thinning out remove long branches and then tip thin remaining, not a quick job if the first trim.
  8. Its the opposite of a builder taking tiles up to roof to replace.
  9. You will have a job beating a I for 10x5 tipper.
  10. I leave timber as large as possible so it keeps longer than if you ring it up. But I have the kit to do it which is why.
  11. The problem of moving large timber out of back gardens to front drive is you still have to load them.
  12. Never let a customer feed chipper. As others have said let them drag brash to it .
  13. Reading most of the comments you would be better off using a blade to cut long thick grass not cord blade zaps less power, less fuel and more cut.
  14. Tree of heaven, snaps so easy
  15. I would buy the 18mm as the 25mm is heavy to pull about in tree.
  16. Yes maybe next size down.
  17. i have an eye spliced in each end and attach with shackle. Bowline is ok for heavy pulls but is kinked until next pull, 25mm rope is a stiff rope to tie a tight knot but thinner sizes maybe better.
  18. Large pull rope I use is a 50m 25mm polysteel rope I bought of EBay, it only down side its heavy.
  19. If you are working for 1 agri contractor you should be an employee not self employed. But do read all the small print on insurance you are thinking of going with.
  20. Think he wants to sit in the dry when raining.
  21. 14T machine is abit OTT for moving timber about unless you have a big yard. What about a tractor with crane on back you would not have 360' movement but more then a JCB 180' machine. Also a PTO to use if you need.
  22. What ever size it is you can cut it back to boundary, but maybe better to reduce over hang by thinning just to let more light in which would be better for the tree and keep neighbor happy.
  23. You should be able to claim a percentage for use in business, I run a landy 90 along with a 130 as main truck both insured a commercial vehicle. As for spec comfort has got nothing to do with them if you are travelling long distances.
  24. Built in speed limiter
