  1. Stick to your original price. He is trying to play one service against another for the best possible price. Remember " no one can pimp yourself or your product better than you". No one! People with small egos and the need to play mind games are out there in every industry. Learn from them and know what to expect, you may be surprised how quickly they will respect you in turn.
  2. Really great looking logs and finished timber.Congrats, where are the pictures from?
  3. Greetings Matt: Easy Lift Guy saying hi from SW Florida USA. How was your day?.

    Best Regards.

  4. "No one can Pimp your self better than your self" You sound like you have the certifications in order and most of your equipment in hand. The lower your overhead or cost of doing business the more competive you will be on your own. Not knowing the job market in your neck of the woods, you may need to expand your range to other areas looking for someone with your work ethic and knowledge. Don't sell your self short. Keep pressing on, believe me I did and I always will.
  5. Here in the states, simple signs are left on said piles of wood, I think they usually say FREE.
  6. As a designer, manufacturer and end user I am often stunned at what is available for the industry to work with. Sometimes I think that some companies are guilty of using the term "new and improved " once to often. I do believe that many designs of new products are not properly field tested and the end result is usually a very unhappy end user.
  7. A shame some people have their heads up their backside just to leave their mark on society. If I had caught them I would have given their heads some company.
  8. I have a 3:00 PM app.EST today. My lovely internet provider is on and off at the moment. Not sure when you will receive this message. You may also reach me at [email protected] I shall have my messages forwarded to my iphone for the balance of the afternoon.

    Best regards

    easy-lift guy.

  9. Hi Back at you Chainsawdom. easy-lift guy replying to your hello.

  10. Your main heat receptors are located on the underside of your wrist and the back of your neck. Keep you neck covered as much as possible. When you do take a break apply cold water to your neck and wrist. This will help maintain your core temp. Drink plenty of water to help stem off dehydration. If you stop sweating ther is a good chance that you are all ready dehydrated and it may take up to two to three days before your back up to par.
  11. Orland in August, pack your sunscreen you will need it as you get closer to your arrival date let me know by email and we can get together. Have a great Holiday. Best Regards easy-lift guy
  12. Drink plenty of water and you may have to relearn how to pace yourself. With the time difference and climate I wish you the very best, by the way I know all about the really hot weather from SW Florida in the summer. Best Regards. easy-lift guy
  13. Take the tree out, if I have seen it once I have seen it a Million times and I still wonder, Why Do People continue to plant trees under power lines? Are there that many "Really want to Say something here" people out there??????. Not refering to Michelle.
  14. Thank you all for your service, if your ever in the states like SW. Florida on Holiday look me up for dinner out on me. Best Regards easy-lift guy
  15. Funny thing is that Henchman is one of my better dealers in the UK and even forwarded some new business to my newest dealer in Austraila. Sorry to hear that chopthatup had a different experience than my customers have.
  16. Spaking as a marathoner from a few years ago I need to also remove the spare tube around the waist for personal and professional reasons. In 3 months and the hiring of a trainer for a once a week lashing at the Y I lost 32 lbs and met my goal in time for my largest show to demonstrate my product. The results were great and I still have a few more pounds to shed. By the way I also gave up any items containing High Fructose syrup, white items excluding cauliflower, soda, candy, and only drank fresh juices, H2O, and skim milk. 1 protein between breakfast/lunch and lunch and dinner. Fresh fruit for desert. Work outs consisted if upper and lower body on various machines low weight and moderat reps. Biking and running on non gym days. Was at 232 lbs @ 6'3'' presently 198 lbs with about 15 to 18 lbs left to go. Never going back to sporting those spare tires again.
  17. Here in the states we have volenteer services available for mortorist that are broken down or have run out of gas. In Florida they are called Road rangers and they work the interstate system. They are good people helping other people in need. Some have even died while trying to help others in need. People need to be more considerate of fellow motorist. I have made many stops in my day to help people in need and in the process done my part to help humanity thru another day.
  18. Well put treequip. The person on the Bike was playing the part of a Jackwagon and frustrating the police officer in the process. If this situation had taken place in the states I can assure you that the person on the bike would have been sited and if same person decided to play the part of a mental midget, back up would have been on it's way and he would have ended up in jail. Police have a hard enough time dealing with day to day crime enforcement but when it comes to pin heads on bicycles frustrating and pissing off the law, well lets say he got off easy.
  19. Gee I am sure that everyone that has purchased a iphone 4 really feels great right about now. Heres a tip. If you have to have a new phone or any electronic device remember you are paying for the bulk of the R/D as well as all the bugs that will come out with the new and improved models. Don't be a sucker for the latest model, it will soon enough be yesterdays news only more expensive and more bugs to work out. I will replace my iphone 3gs when it is dead, and only than. "Work smarter with your funds not harder."
  20. We have the same issues with under cutters as well. Continue to be patient and do the best job you are trained to do. All of the under cutters soon drift away since they do not understand the cost of conducting business. usually here in the states when these type Professionals appear on the market their equipment is usually worth about 5 cent's on the dollar within in 12 months or less. They never learn, but I think you just did.
  21. Lawrence of Arabia, Peter Otoole played the part to a Tee and the cinematography was fantastic. The theme of the movie is still true to this day and as the expression go's " the more things change, the more they same the same"
  22. I hope for a speedy recovery. Be very aware of your surroundings, never take situations for granted and if something seems wrong or out of sorts it more than likely will be your only or last warning.
  23. Never seen a ZTR like that here in the states. I googled United Equipment to no avail. You may have a Frankenstein on your hands!.
  24. Stephen, may want to try a book mark for your book, they are available in the real world.
  25. Maybe she thought you served in the military? In my business/pleasure travels I routinely burchase lunch or dinner for active duty. By the way thank you for your service.
