  1. Bat habitat bad idea, Public safety Number 1., remove entire limb.
  2. Cordon the area off from the public ASAP. Contact your utilities companys and get started with your plan of action. Have a Happy Easter!.
  3. Never agree to anything over the phone, unless you have an agreement in writing don't agree to anything. Futhermore if you do have something in writing and your not sure go seek a second or third opinion. If your still uncomfortable trust your sences and walk away.
  4. Gnarlyoak I am sorry that your walmarts or like retail locations don't carry Napalm. My location here in the USA delivers 50 Gal. drums to my wearhous every week. I have a good supply although I thought it would be worth a try for burning Elm. FYI In my part of the country we have no less than 3 gun shops on every corner since we like to be prepared. I would secure my Napalm from them but I have a standing order with walmart. Your also welcome to come over for a visit any time and I can teach you about my country's " gun Culture" at the range, yes I have plenty of guns and ammo. See you at the range! :-) Bye the way I am joking, believe it or not!
  5. I am very sorry for your loss of kit. Although I have not been a member of this organization for very long this really seems to be a reoccuring problem. I have read many comments with like descriptions of items being lifted. I wonder if it would be worth while to form a consortium of sorts with alarm companys in the UK. With the shear numbers of companys having stolen kit on a weekly basis it and members belong to this organization it may be practical and if the local police can coordinate there efforts with the alarm company this may help. I wish I could help out more but since my main base of opperations is here in the US that is the best I have to offer. I hope you are able to recover your kit.
  6. Perhaps you may try Napam, although this could be extream it should do the job.
  7. Are you kidding!!!.
  8. It sounds like your hands may be tied belonging to the EU. I hope for the sake of all in the UK that you don't give up the Pound, that would really finish off your currency since I believe the Euro is very over valued. My opinion.
  9. If you want hot try SW Florida USA. Current temp 88, low tonight 70 maybe. Relative Humidity competes with the temp all of the time. You guy's have no idea how easy the weather is in the UK compared to US. O by the way during the summer months the temp. in the sun and not the shade will exceed 100+ that can last for months starting as early as April and ending as late as October. The actual temp. is never reported since the Chamber of Commerce wishes to have the tourist as uninformed as possible, hence the attack of the "Lobster people" every year. They never learn and never really care how much dammage they do to their skin.
  10. Necessity is the mother of invention, Inginuity was the father. Great pics and a job well done.
  11. Although your intentions may be all well and good the actual reasons for "Scraping vital laws" is pure economics. Your government is running out of funds just like the Feds are here in the States. I am sure that if you had a petition for say raising the VAT another 50% to cover the cost of maintaining the vital laws you deem important and needed that petition would go over like a lead feather. I think that the need to continue to involve the Government in every aspect of ones life will continue to erode your rights every time. We as citizens can, if we choose be good stewards of our economy and environment with out government intervention. The more dependent you become of the government the more you will become subjected to the government. If you still feel strongly about signing petitions and "scraping vital laws" perhaps you may wish to donate any remaining funds you will ever earn to support your causes, I am sure the Government would be happy to accept your support.
  12. I do like your web-site and concure more pictures and videos if you have them. easy-lift guy easyliftharness.com
  13. Thanks for the pictures I am glad that the event was well received. Best Regards
  14. Yes here in the states comes with the job, we have the imports from South America by way of Africa as well. Very nasty, and more deadly. Be aware of your surrounds at all times it could save your life.
  15. What a Skylight!.
  16. Nice pictures, I am glad you Spring has sprung.Have a nice weekend.
  17. I wonder who has the pest control contract?
  18. Here in the states I know of several Female climbers from the ISA National show in St.Louis, MO. 3 years ago. They were very good during the climbing events and I was very proud of how well they did. By the way they did not look like a yeti.
  19. I believe it depends on your knowledge/skill level. Some people can really work hard on trimming hedges and I know all about that, still others choose to work smarter with the best equipment there budget can afford to purchase. If one can increase ones production 200% percent per day with the right equipment, said equipment has just increased ones profit level and left said operator feeling much stronger by then of the work day. I can only speak from my own experience.
  20. To many distractions from day to day life. I have always been willing to take advantage of offers when available. Perhaps there was a slackers convention nearby when you posted your offer, can't stand slackers right up there with Jack wagons. Keep posting you will find your help.
  21. Thanks for your service, I wish you the best for your new chosen field of endeavor. Best regards easy-lift guy.
  22. "Necessity is the mother of all invention". The load handler has been available here in the states now for several years now. That being said I have only seen one in use and the customer was very happy with the unit she had for her Ford F150 truck with the 8' bed. "Did I mention that she was about 5' tall and about 110 lbs" Here in SW Florida and for most of the state during the rainy season a load of material can become very heavy after a short period of rain fall. I believe with dry goods such as rock shell sand or dirt the product can and will do fine. Wet goods on the other hand may be a different story, my opinion only. Good luck with your investment working smarter, not harder.
  23. "Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues and you know it don't come easy" Ringo Starr. Keep woeking hard most everyone on this site does and than some.
  24. First come first served. Although this client has been part of your income stream in the past he really needs to wait his turn. If you bend over backwards to fit his needs than everyone else will wonder what happen?. REMEMBER You work for yourself. Most clients understand that some others still need some training.
  25. I have visited the chat room on several occasions and actually discussed storage of firewood and the effects of to much moisture here in SW. Florida, the wood becomes punky and only good for smoke signals after 6 months. Time difference is tough for me as well, o well will continue to try if anyone wishes conversation.
