  1. I am certain that the "big guy" was monitoring the conversation and would have use additional means of persuasion as needed. I would have used a bear hug or a sleeper hold and gently placed him out side of the train, if I judged there was going to be any additional need of restraint. easy-lift guy
  2. Perhaps you were lucky?, the dealer was a crook IMO and the customer got paid and you got a nice saw. I have heard many more bad ebay purchases on either side of the Atlantic. easy-lift guy
  3. Worcs, what part of Off did the rider who was really not interested in the rules or inconveniencing other riders not understand?, Would it have been better if the conductor continue to argue with the rider knowing very well that it was a lost cause?. Perhaps the person that assisted the conductor with the removal of the rider should have lost some weight before he resolved the situation? The rider IMO knew he was in the wrong and refused to leave on his own accord, no I do not pitty him and I would have thank the big man myself since he was the reason the situation was defused and the matter resolved, better yet since I am not that big of a man and the conductor needed assistance I would have defused the situation myself if asked to help. It does not make me a better person I just see this non-sence here in the states and I am once again glad to see someone willing to have some spine and help. easy-lift guy
  4. For all that have replied to this thread purchasing kit of any kind from ebay is more than a crap shoot. I compare it to polishing a turd and the end result is about the same all over your hands. easy-lift guy
  5. You are a professional and should only sell him what will work. Any thing less will cost you more than business in the future. easy-lift guy
  6. Your idea sounds like it could work and providing a cap of sorts may allow the cut to try out slower. The weather is the only unknown. Look forward to an update in the Spring easy-lift guy
  7. Good job Rover, it's the little things in life that set you apart and are examples of how helpful we can be for one another. easy-lift guy
  8. Some grave sites are better kept than others, guess the families of the departed have long since died and passed on as well. Nature will win in the end. easy-lift guy
  9. Congrats Rik as one door closes another one opens. Perhaps we can get together in 2012 early planning stages for a visit to the UK ATM. Will keep you posted. All the best easy-lift guy
  10. As long as there will be elected officials willing to show they have a back bone and do the right thing for the voters there will always be a chance to reverse course, direction. Mr Cameron exercised his Veto on behalf of the UK. Simply because he decided not to join in lock step over the cliff with the rest of the EU means he is negotiating. easy-lift guy
  11. I believe you are correct Paul and kinda of made my point. It is also an economy to scale considering the size and market of our Two countries! easy-lift guy
  12. From A State side point of view, Mr. Cameron did the right thing for The UK and if all of the other countries that belong to the EU think for a minute that they will now have to have a balance budget or face penalties from Brussels they are even more naive then I gave them credit for. IMO this is once again prolonging the inevitable death of the Euro as a currency. easy-lift guy
  13. treequip, The Libility insurance for the Tree Industry is State owned or Private firms underwriting policies?. If the Insurance available is State owned and run than that is a different matter if the Insurance is owned and run by private companies those private companies have to pay out a lot of claims for accidents, which the stock holders really don't like!. At least that is the way it works over here in the States. easy-lift guy
  14. My point about insurance is that everyone pays more because of Clowns pretending to be Tree surgeons and the like. We have the same here and many WEW'S as well. easy-lift guy
  15. Jackwagons Inc. Really dangerous situations, and people in this industry wonder why insurance is so expensive. easy-lift guy
  16. Get an est. how much it would cost to fix and than determine should I cut more bait or go fish. If it does not cost to much to restore to running condition than save, repair and keep. Otherwise salvage what you can in spare parts and move on. easy-lift guy
  17. Interesting news, only problem with current means of transport it is est. to take only 22,000 years to get to this location. I think I will wait for the movie instead. easy-lift guy
  18. Spikes are so expensive due to libility insurance and if the spikes are made out of Titanium that is another really good reason. easy-lift guy
  19. Way to much, Brass Balls as well! easy-lift guy
  20. This is also true here in the States, esp. here in the State of Florida, sometimes it is nothing more than putting a safety vest and directing traffic away from the accident while others attend to the wounded, until paramedics arrive. or grabbing a fire extinguisher to put out a fire or be ready to put one out if need be. easy-lift guy
  21. If you did not file a police report at the scene do so ASAP. Her profession has nothing to do with the fact per say but her attitude was poor at best. I hope your son makes a full recovery. easy-lift guy
  22. Greetings Steve, Two items I noticed missing from your thread would be any and all insurance needed for your new business venture and any and all Licenses. If I wanted to hirer someone out for sub-contract work that would have to be enforce. Otherwise it sounds like you have done some marketing work towards your new career and I believe between your desire and knowledge to post here first you will be able to make a go of it in time. All the best easy-lift guy
  23. Fast Orange or Goo Gone. Works well for us state side. easy-lift guy
  24. Rob, Thanks for sharing. Was wondering how this product compares with Oregon Power sharp?, via cost and practical use. easy-lift guy
  25. Try closing everything out and reboot the computer. Log in again and see what happens? easy-lift guy
