  1. We should be eating a lot more squirrel. And rabbit. Prolific and genuinely free range
  2. You may also find that the main contractor requires you to have it. In which case whether or not we believe it to be required doesn't amount to much.
  3. From an arb point of view they are probably quite harmless, but have you seen the catastrophic damage they can cause in a forestry plantation though? I quite like them, and enjoy watching them in the garden, but in the woods they have to be controlled.
  4. There's not much in it to be honest. I use both every day and probably could even tell you the differences without going looking. Forum Runner is fine generally, it's just this latest release that seems to be flakey.
  5. Are you just going for a branded version of Tapatalk? If you're planning on switching to Forum Runner then it might be worth holding fire for a while because the latest version seems to be very buggy and is likely to cause grief!
  6. How well would you be able to run your business without a driving licence then? Just asking...
  7. On the plus side you should have plenty of time for Christmas shopping now!
  8. Sweet!
  9. Fair enough, I'm going to take it in to the dealer on Saturday anyway to see what they reckon. Oh, and guess what happened to my starter mechanism today...
  10. Had that a couple of weeks ago. Haven't broken the pull start yet, but it's probably just a matter of time!
  11. Nice one Sam. When's the house warming party?
  12. I posted on the duplicate of this thread, but as that's going nowhere I thought I might as well add my tuppence worth here as well! I've worked with Ian, and he's a real grafter and good to have around. Despite being transportally challenged he is reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Looks like team Arbtalk are coming up trumps again!
  13. And this is a sign by a lake near where I grew up. They've never liked keep nets!
  14. These are part a low ropes course at an adventure training place I visited a few weeks ago. I particularly like the way that the heads of the bolts are being imperceptibly pulled through the pieces of timber as the tree continues to grow. Strangely compelling!
  15. Mine's the same. I'll call my dealer tomorrow and see what he reckons. Stubby, you seem to have had every problem possible with your 560 - what's your filter like and are you still running the stock one?
  16. That's a great offer jammy!
  17. You may have read it somewhere, but it's completely untrue! http://www.parliament.uk/Templates/BriefingPapers/Pages/BPPdfDownload.aspx?bp-id=SN01844
  18. OK, I checked my pile of bumf and it looks like I was wrong - the blue alpines that I was thinking of were BCS not New Holland. Sorry!
  19. The UK distributor was at APF and I picked up some info. I'll have a look and see if I can find it!
  20. Have you tried shiply.com ? I haven't used it but know of several people who've had good results with it.

    I'm crying...

Weeping with laughter. The kids want to know what's so funny. Think I should show them?
  22. I've got a Panasonic DMC-FT3 which I take to work with me whenever I remember. It takes decent photos, but best of all it's waterproof and shockproof so I don't have to worry about breaking it! I've been meaning to post some photos, so I'll try to find a few minutes to get some up here.
  23. I've worked with Ian, and he's a real grafter and good to have around. Despite being transportally challenged he is reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Probably useful to know that he's based in Crawley, West Sussex. Just in case you were wondering.
  24. I don't know whether it's any better than the competition, but even as a very occasional climber that video made me want to have one!
