  1. :lol:bet the air turned blue after that for a few minutes:lol:
  2. Rich, are you sure about this - thought the piles in fields was animal waste rather than human??
  3. Apart from moisture content, does it also not depend a bit on the particular stove setup with regard to efficiency, fire box temperature (in relation to wood type)etc?? These factors seem to be focused on by manufacturers when it comes to emissions and also effect what is deposited in the flue.
  4. 346xp is off the menu as nobody seems to have any left, unless you can find a decent second hand one
  5. As you sow, so shall you reap
  6. Well now, considering the time of year, Rudolf might be out with his mates doing systems checks?? Yes been down the pub on the cider
  7. nice one Rob - easy money too I guess
  8. the best time of year - dont know why, but love it
  9.
  10. in references, I trust you mentioned this thread?? Good luck with the job:thumbup1:
  11. apologies for the slight derail - question for Gray Git. Looks like you still have the bark on the chair legs - if so, how have you finished it?
  12. Whats that slot for Rob, steels??
  13. no mate, hardcore arb dawg:thumbup1:
  14. agreed Skyhuck - just common sense and logic. Unfortunately clever legal types have twisted the legal system to the extent that common sense and logic no longer come into play As for tickets - they are just bits of paper. In my line of work I find that those with the most tickets have the least experience as they have spent all their time in the classroom rather than doing the job.
  15. nice job, but as mentioned above, they are going to have some problems with damp on that wall
  16. never - mostly on work or other shared computors. Not a major problem and might just be related to all the changes going on so not particularly worried as can do what I need to on here.
  17. the 2012 T5 brochure gives the difference in length between SWB & LWB as 400mm. No indication of distance from the side door to the back, but the load space behind the first row of seats is 1739mm in LWB and 1339 in SWB Wheel bases are also 400 difference so they just slot in an extra 400mm in front of the back wheels it seems.
  18. when logging in today the user name and password box in the top right hand corner came up again instead of the welcome, unread posts, last visit info etc, but when I clicked one of the tabs at the top of the page then I get the welcome etc so it seems that I am actually logged in. Apologies for the possibly confusing post - I am c..p at IT
  19. can confirm it is an old wives tale - if it were true there would be nobody left in my family as our place was covered with them and have had to clear loads out the way just to be able to move around the place. Most have been small so just ended up in the brash burning pile. Had been told the same about holly, but that's been burning lovely
  20. thanks gents
  21. They do actually make stetson hard hats over there - was shown one in Louisiana about 12 years ago. Not to say it is any good for arb work
  22. The Malloff book is quite old - 1982 according to Ian's link. I guess the basics of milling have not changed, but what about something with modern equipment options? Or is google the only option?
  23. Hi Steve every time I log in, get the usual welcome message and the home page opens up, but I am not logged in. Always opens up OK on the second log in. Cleared up a couple of days ago for a day or two, but now back to its old tricks?? Appreciate all the effort by the way
  24. Anybody burned any elder?? Cut out some biggish ones that were choking a big old apple tree.
